Only annoyance I have with the 2013 game is that it has multiplayer-only trophies. Just a small annoyance.

I'd suggest reading The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny (in that order), before the first book of the actual series, Blood of Elves. It's generally considered the 'correct' way to read them, and the short stories do a good job of fleshing out some characters you see in later books.

We'd also be hearing "Laptop Gun OP!' 'Farsight OP!' every 1.2 seconds as well.
