Nissan has done this quite successfully, the GTR is what like 10 years old at this point? and isn’t much different. And when LFA’s are still trading for half a million it doesn’t take much math to tell there is still substantial demand for these cars.

I think the market for six-figure carbon fiber V10 supercar Lexuses is probably smaller than it used to be, but I wouldn’t say no to one.”

I have lived in the country most of my life, and this has to be one of my greatest fears. After trying beyond meat (I got it for free) I think I would probably just go ahead and commit suicide if I ever get sick with this. I’ve gone as much as 4 days without red meat, but I honestly don’t think I could go on with life

Interesting take. I’m a luxury real estate Broker in Florida, most of my clients fit your wealth description. But most of them seem to drive mid level luxury suv’s.

Yeah, that’s not a thing. Rich people don’t drive a civic or a corolla 5 days a week.

Ferrari hasn’t ever been sympathetic. Even now in F1, when they are an underdog, I can’t route for them. They have always had a “holier than thou” attitude. They expect special consideration, like the big payouts they get for just being Ferrari in F1.

Everyone will want to be looking forward to the next Supra because the new one is crap.

The thing about modern keyless go is that you never need the key. Throw it in your purse and forget about it, let it get lost until you have to return the car. Why do you feel the need to get the key out at all?

I honestly find it hard to imagine pushing a car quicker through Monaco. Surely we are close to the best possible time? Where can they gain time? Maybe with a touch more power you could eek out a tenth of 2 through the tunnel and down the main “straight”, better brakes get you another tenth between all the braking

If anyone can figure the answer to that question out then I’m sure Ferrari has a €100m check waiting for them.

The thing I’m amazed by is the new aero regulations to aid passing this year. They spent months talking about how the new aero would make the cars slower as a side effect. Obviously no one expected more passing in Monaco because there simply isn’t room. But at the other races we really haven’t seen much more passing,

Elon Musk is not a genius. This myth needs to stop. He is a visionary dreamer. He thinks up wildly impractical ideas and then hires other people to figure out that his ideas don’t work and instead make something that does. This is why he has a failing car company despite the fact that the cars are objectively pretty

I want to start by saying that I have loved every Tesla I’ve had a chance to drive. I have driven several iterations of the S through the years including the p100d that I very much want to own, and I got to drive a 3 performance recently that was damn near as impressive as the p100d.

Is there somewhere that sells replicas of this? Asking for a friend

I would have liked some comparative numbers, like how did the Tesla do compared to other cars in the class. I realize driver skill would impact this, but it would have still been interesting.

Tesla’s weigh considerably more than a comparable sports car. Thus the brakes could conceivably overheat on an autocross after multiple runs. The regen would add a comfortable margin of safety to the brake life.

When you read the full daily mail story it gets even better. This bell-end bought the pos for 2,500 and then spent 3k on the suspension. He’s supposedly spent 13k keeping an old Passat on the road. Even if that figure includes registration, taxes, & fuel the stupid is strong with this one.

I assume he’s including labor, and new wheels and tires in the cost.

Renault already has yellow So CAT wouldn’t be good, in my mind it’s John Deer or GTFO.
