Easier said than done. Also an original FC will have the reliability of a very old vehicle. I agree that a new FC would be very nice!

Also not for nothing, but you do realize that cars like the Audi A8, and Mercedes E63 are literally built to cruise at well over 100 mph on the autobahn. Considering the minimal traffic on the roads right now, this is in my view acceptably safe.
Like Ed said in the video, it may be unbeatable. It may be the equivalent of taking steroids and setting a record for most home runs in a season. Yes statistically it’s the safest time. But the next person up is going to have to drive even faster, and likely with more traffic on the road.
It’s not an “endorsement” but it was an article written by a car enthusiast about some thing that all car enthusiasts kinda secretly dream of.
Jalopnik when it was cool:
What if you pay your entire premium 6 months at a time and your bill was in January.
I mean anyone building a super bronco in their garage out of multiple junk Super Duty’s almost certainly has never been to Whole Foods.
Yikes. I can see why he wanted something different. That’s awful 😳
Read your diesel broz hit piece. Agreed with it in premise but thought it didn’t fit the narrative of the old jalopnik. Then looked at your other stuff. Meh, till I got here. Now I take exception. Some people do real work for a living, not just sitting at a computer getting hand cramps from typing. They haul things,…
I’m not defending these guys, full on rolling coal is disgusting, and all the discovery channel shows are pretty dumb. but I will sort of agree with some of the other commenters, this article is a pretty big departure from the cool stuff that used to be on Jalopnik.
This seems like a crazy price for a 2010. I didn’t think the early ones were much cheaper than this?
Literally 8 of these engines are either directly from the 2000’s or mild evolutions of 2000’s engines. The Mercedes 6.2 & BMW S65 both came out in like ‘07 and really didn’t receive much for updates, to the point that they didn’t even get new engine codes before they were both discontinued in like 2013. The Audi/Lambo…
Too much door not enough window. It looks like a 3/4 scale minivan
I know the star/recommended system has changed a number of times over the decade, but guessing $kay has the most of those too. Much deserved!
Where did I make a vague threat, or any kind of threat?
Big man cussing people out on the internet. Merry holidays 👍🏻
Yep I’m the stupid one
If you just go off square miles and not the literal shape of Texas, the area of the state of Texas would basically hold 6 European races. SIX. granted there isn’t I-10 to get you from monza to Spa without dropping below 80mph, but flights are cheap & short if your just taking a weekend trip.
The GA tickets are cheap but if you want Good seats, or even a hospitality suite it’s basically the same.
