Love the car! I’d say it definitely would have been accepted. There’s always next year. I’m planning to drive my (yet to be completed) Safari across country if I get accepted next year.

They won’t boot a car that’s already booted. A client of mine told me how he got ahold of a parking ticket and a boot and used that combo to park illegally all the way through college. He’s a lawyer now which I think is extra humorous.

She’s only like 20, so she’s still got a good chance. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her get picked up for a bigger drive in the near future.

I think they will get quicker cars as the series gains popularity. As you said it’s a money thing. No one really wants to shell out for f2 level cars for a series that is so new and unproven. I see them upgrading the cars in the coming years.

Well in the case of that particular vehicle “stylish” was a poor choice of words....stylized maybe was a better word? because the point is they did a lot of styling work to make it look different. Either way it’s a more expensive version of the same car.

The point is that the 7 is kinda dull, and it starts under 100k which means it’s practically a poor person car. The 8 is a more stylish choice for people with class who don’t want to be confused with the poor.

Volvo is probably the smart choice here. Unfortunately I can’t think of anything better. My friend has a Acura RDX and seems to really love it. I guess it looks kinda cool, so maybe that? Unfortunately everything I would buy is either out of budget or ostentatious....soooo....

I have to say that this year of Mercedes dominance is less boring. By all accounts Ferrari is faster, they have had a realistic chance to go 1-2 at every race except Melbourne. But they have screwed up at every race so far.

They may as well go full electric, the turbo 4 would be a terrific engine in any other car, but it’s sort of soulless & lackluster in the Coxter twins. 

She’s a beautiful woman, but I doubt even Muslim men are excited about this shoot. Maybe there are a handful of people who have this fetish, but this seems like an odd move for SI. This also definitively proves that Modest isn’t Hottest.

I actually think these look decent, certainly much better than the cross cab & Aztec. From certain angles, like the lead picture of the front 3/4, I think they actually look kinda good. I may get flack for this: but with the top down I don’t think these look that bad. I like the concept.

I think I made a comment on the Miami story the other day that summed this up: Under Bernie there were 2 ways to get an F1 race: spend hundreds of millions of dollars to bring an F1 race to your nice venue where people actually want to go, or be a horrible dictator with a history of suppressing human rights.
