Looked him up....His photography is pretty good, but my problem with photography is its easily imitated, so photography being “valuable art” doesn’t make sense unless you happen to artistically capture a moment that will literally never happen again like a photo journalist does.

I hope they get Miami to work, but I would hate to see them put another race in the US back to back with COTA. At least run them a month apart, with Mexico and Brazil between US races, that way fan base is strong for both.

The “crap graphics over the halo” is actually a brilliant use of dead space on screen. The halo screwed up the viewing angle, so when you move the camera higher you have to do something different. It’s a great way to keep important info in a “heads up display” feel

I believe you forgot about the ones who felt slavery was morally wrong...

I don’t get why this makes you hate supercar owners? Half the guys I know with lambos and such are early to mid 30’s. A lot of these guys are former military and now sell real estate with no college education, or benefit from 40 years of whatever your beef is with. Then of course there are guys who do internet jobs

The fact that one of the worlds largest beverage manufacturer, whose sponsored driver made the Shoey famous in the first place, didn’t trademark the word Shoey before F1 finally got around to it last August tells me the value of that trademark.

Get out of here with your logic, we can’t have that here, this is a discussion about how much rich people suck.

I wrote several comments, but I have had to keep deleting them because I’m trying not to feed your obvious hatred with more of the same. All I want to know is what happens in your life that made you like this, With so much distain for people you know nothing about?

Check out @joshyrobots on instagram. Dude is basically a giant middle finger to those guys, and his car is a total piece of crap rat rod.

A S&D car is going to appreciate for 25 years regardless of how many miles are on it. Once 25 years happens and it is no longer the only example in the country they yes the price will drop back off some. But if you’re talking about a 1 in 61 that price is still going to be high. I have been through this enough times,

I figured it was more of an insurance thing.. On the older cars this was super easy, unplug the odometer and drive as much as you want. If you get in an accident just plug in the odometer again. But modern cars are screwed....although most S&D owners probably don’t drive 2,500 a year anyways

You can’t drive a cup car to cars and coffee or your local track day, it requires a trailer. Which is not a money thing, I trailer my 911 behind my Raptor on some longer drives, but it is a convenience issue, because sometimes I just want to hop in my car and cruise to my destination without booking up a trailer and

The price tag for all this stuff? It’s $188,550 +$350,000, including delivery.*

This brings up a question I’ve always had. Does anyone from the government actually come around and check the mileage to make sure you aren’t doing more than 2,500 miles a year?

Luft isn’t that kinda gathering. It’s about outlaws and racers. It’s put on by Patrick Long and Jeff Zwart and others in the Porsche community who mod these cars for fun and drive the shit out of them. Yes there are a handful of garage queens, but they are the old race cars that are worth a million bucks.

My guess, the owner of that yard had one of the million dollar cars parked inside.

I agree in part. b&w 35mm shouldn’t be used regularly anymore. But it still has its place. And it’s place is at events like Luft where there are already literally hundreds of other photographers running around with DSLR’s. I’ve looked at probably 2,000 pictures from this event and these pictures are a welcome relief

No one would ever complain about the 4Runner. In fact I would never complain about someone buying a full size suv, especially if it has an off road pedigree. I’ve owned a Touareg, Range Rover, & G Wagon. It’s all these little cuv’s that get people riled up, like the RAV4.

The Ram is the Jaguar of trucks. They look good and they are very appealing, but as soon as the warranty is up everything but the engine and transmission will fall apart...
