I own a 2018 Raptor. This video terrifies me. It is not fun to drive on a twisty road in the wet. I imagine he tried to lay down a hot lap and quickly figured out that “the fun way” was the only way it drives “quickly” in the rain. If the road is wet, it will break traction at 50mph while executing a passing maneuver.

Well I was basing my opinion of the 9spd not being that great on the fact that Chevy is seeing essentially no benefit in the cars they are using it in.

Once you get past 6 the number of gears is irrelevant, it’s what the gears are that matters. All cars should have 6 as a minimum. 5 “city gears” and a tall overdrive. Closing up the ratios with 7, 8, 9, & 10 seems pointless in some applications. Perfect example is my Raptor. I believe 9th & 10th are actually too…

I don’t go on the internet until I watch the race, sometimes that means hours into a day. I follow F1, Ricciardo, Red Bull, Bottas, & Mercedes on various platforms, so I know if I go near the internet the race is spoiled.

Artist literally do this all the time, they aren’t trying to steal the thunder from the original artist, it’s a tribute to them. Taylor put her own spin on a classic. I respect it. Yes maybe you like the original better, but realize what Taylor was doing and appreciate it for what it is.

A little harsh. I know several R8 owners, and only one of them has tracked their R8. Most either have dedicated track cars already (911GT3’s), or are old men who don’t race. One of them even has winter tires on his R8 and keeps it at his house in CO.
