And just like that, I will only use Mothers car products for the rest of the year, or as long as this model remains. I am going to do whatever I personally can to ensure this is a profitable business model for both ESPN and Mothers. Good news is I am a bit of an Instagram influencer with ~30k followers across multiple

I have to say I really like the new mustangs. If you squint they sort of have an Aston Martin vibe to the styling. I drove a GT350 at the dealer when I picked up my Raptor, and it was phenomenal...and this is coming from a snob that things the Europeans make the best car....I would actually consider owning a GT350.

Exactly! there is plenty of the post race stuff available on the internet, so I can watch the bits I want. All I want out of TV coverage is lights out to podium

It’s really disappointing that Jalopnik doesn’t cover F1 better. I would like to talk about how ESPN gave us completely commercial free broadcast.

The mishap will cost Ferrari 50,000 euros in fines from F1, or about $62,000 at current exchange rates.

Yeah just needs a Budget cap, something in the 250m range would be fair.

Fuel flow or fuel capacity is the better way of restricting power.

To make this feasible you have to set a budget cap as well. I would recommend a few more regulations like it has to be hybrid. It would be interesting because someone might show up with a 6 liter twin turbo V12 that had to stop for fuel and tires every 15 laps, and someone else could come up with a V4 that only needed

Right! I understand the sentiment behind wanting to do away with grid girls, and I think the Grid Kids idea is fun, especially given the possibility that some of these kids might one day end up in F1 (if not as drivers then as crew)

I find a Red Bull Honda deal unlikely to happen now that Aston Martin is heavily invested in RB. Maybe they do it for ‘19 & ‘20, but I belive that AM-RB are at least considering building their own PU when the regs change in ‘21. It’s the only way their partnership makes sense. Aston Martin Red Bull Honda Racing in’s a

“Greatest boxer” he is not, but he’s one hell of a showman and dancer.

No amount of training can turn a Quarter horse into an Thoroughbred

Right. What are the CAFE numbers for a Corvette, Mustang GT, Camero, WRX, or any M, AMG, Porsche, etc.

Except they have to advertise a number that the car can make in the real world. So they dial back the advertised HP to account for things like a bad batch of fuel, or altitude & air density. So cars that are dynoed in ideal conditions will almost always do significantly better than advertised.

There also isn’t a single car on that list that’s an “enthusiast” car....they all suck to drive. We as car lovers are the ones who suffer

You forgot driving a car....or being a car enthusiast....

The nice thing is, people who would never write a letter will buy them when they walk into an Audi dealer and say “I want the most expensive car in your show room that has 4 doors.” I’m convinced this is how Mercedes sells E63 wagons; they freak out at the price of an S63 and ask what the next step lower is. They

The “Obama” target for 2025 was good intent, but it was also overly ambitious. I hate to say it, but Trump administration was right to cut it. However I sadly doubt the trump administration will replace it with something reasonable, they will probably replace it with something much too lenient that the next

That’s just in a standing mile. It would take more than a mile to hit its top speed.

...meaning it lost just 11% of its power to drivetrain losses.
