Hahah I assume that’s sarcasm? I’ve owned both. and as much as I loved the E28, I would not buy another. A proper S38 rebuild isn’t too far off what a V10 costs to rebuild.
You won’t regret it. I honestly end up driving my 190 way more than my 911 just because it’s more comfortable, and less conspicuous. I’m in love with it.
He’s active on 190Rev & on Instagram as @hedgehogtnm. I’ve bought everything just through Instagram DM & Paypal transfer. I think he has a website somewhere, and he has a Facebook page as well.
Who wants a late model CPO C class? Using that same logic no one would ever buy an E30 M3 because those cost almost as much as a CPO M3 of the current generation. And nobody would ever pay 30k for an E28 M5 because you can get a V10 M5 cheaper?
A guy in Thailand builds them. They are good quality. Didn’t take an outrageous amount of prep to get right. he does all sorts of other things for 190's: EVO 1 & 2 kits, poly bushings, lightweight pully’s, etc. he’s even working on a custom ITB setup for Cosworths right now.
If you have to ask that question then you’re never going to understand. The 190E Cosworth has an incredible history. It is in many ways a landmark vehicle. It owns several endurance records at the Nardo ring. It was driven by Senna, in the first big moment of his career at the grand opening of the Nurburgring GP…
The miles and the price are not the issue. This issue is the maybe not so insignificant mechanical issues it suffers from.
Well if you’re looking at it from that angle then yes, you can get a BRZ with a certified warranty for less. But those cars are depreciating, and will never have the cool factor of an 80's baby benz.
With those miles and being from the salt belt I would bet money on it being very rusty.
First off if you find a cosworth for 5k it’s going to be beat to shit and probably not running. The market has moved up and good drivers are trading in the 10-12k range. I paid 10 for mine and it was stanced so bad that the 215 section tires on 9" wide wheels tires were being destroyed by the fenders and the guy who…
If you watch the video the Vette was rusted beyond repair and had no engine, and the chargers they use are basically just the roof & everything else is fully custom. In one of the other videos that they did for one of the other movies Dennis talks about how he is a huge enthusiast and basically says that he would…
I kind of like it.
As an aircooled 911 owner I’m going to give an unpopular opinion. The 996's 3.6tt Mezger is one of the top 3 best engines Porsche has made...
Oh thank god! Maybe the 997 GT3 & GT3RS will start depreciating again. I missed a chance to buy a 997.2 GT3 RS for a mere 93k in 13. It was more month than I could justify spending on something that could lose its value from a wreck. But I’ve been crying ever since as I watch the prices climb. The GT3RS has beat my…
As a former B5 S4 owner merely the thought of an Audi with a twin turbo V6 gives me nightmares.
Right, but basically anything it shares with the A7 it also shares with the Golf, a Bentley Continental, a Seat.
