Auction house, crafting, or just farm the heck out of later areas. I think you can replay missions too to try to get better drops before moving on to Hell mode.

Yeah, I am in a constant state of poverty thanks to the blacksmith. I just have to craft one more item, because I know it's going to be better...
I am fine with subdued whispering. Phones, screaming children, and people yelling drive me crazy. Unless it's someone yelling "AW HELL NAW!" right when something happens in a horror movie. That's always hilarious.
I've come to the conclusion that Diablo III is the world's most complicated slot machine. Every elite, chest, and rare+ item is a spin. You keep spinning until you hit it big, but then you keep going, because there's always a bigger payoff in the distance. And instead of money, it costs you sleep.
Except the hacking isn't affected by the password or an authenticator. The general theory is it's a middle man attack and goes directly though the D3 servers. That's why they take items but don't change passwords. They mimic an old game session and can get in without a password.

Playing through Diablo III has made me realize how freaking awesome Titan Quest was. Anyone else have fond memories or favorite builds from that underrated gem?
If you have friends with the PC, get PC. If you want to just start up random matches, I'd stay with console, because it just works a whole lot smoother. Unless Borderlands 2 really upgraded their match-making on PC. In the first game, even if you were lucky enough to not need port-forwarding enabled, Gamespy was…
Max Payne, is that you? But seriously. Enjoy the game!
I think reading comprehension should be of bigger concern to you than running Diablo III...
A Thursday seems like a strange day to release a game (usually it's Tuesdays, or in rare cases Sundays or Fridays).
It depends on the context. I thought Demon Souls handled keeping things challenging without feeling cheap. It didn't save every minute so you could tip-top through places, but you could open up places to keep progress. I don't mind death reset penalties if the game intelligently auto-saves for me so I can stay…
Yeah. Totally agree. Losing an hour worth of gameplay because I forgot the immersion breaking task of pausing to save is not adding to the challenge: it's adding to the frustration. Game challenge comes from smart enemies, from complicated boss fights, and from mind bending puzzles, not by requiring you to save often,…
What do you mean send off? Greg Jamison is reportedly close to a deal to buy the team and keep them in Phoenix.
Hartnell is going against Evgeni Malkin in his match-up. Not a fan of the Penguins, Owen? (kidding, of course) #corrections
It made for an enjoyable night out at the bar here in SoCal. Lakers fans didn't have too much to say by the end. The only thing easy about that game was LA's pressure on the boards.
Microsoft should just give the refunds, if only for PR sake, and add the caveat to the landing page. This has to be a pretty isolated sample group of people still using SDTVs but with the money to pay for fast enough internet to download games. There's no need to end up with egg on your face over the sum of a few…
If it's head to head MP I have little interest. But if it's campaign co-op, or a horde mode, or even (one can dream) Left 4 Dead with splicers, I am so down.
Yep. February 9, 2010.
The best approximation in English would be "installment", as in 12 installments of $13.99.
