If they decide to focus on season two, they can just make it a Farmville clone, only with less stuff happening.

His last one came against the Bruins, so if he's back Sunday, who knows? Though I think I read it was actually a vertebrae fracture, not a true concussion, that had been causing his symptoms. Thankfully for the Pens, Malkin has decided to remind everyone Crosby's not the only Penguin with an Art Ross trophy.

Dang. I didn't even see the news on Howard. That's a bummer for the Wings, especially with them trying to chase down the surprising St. Louis.

If I weren't so backlogged, I'd almost be willing to drop $350 on this game: $60 for the disc and $290 for a Vita and the game again so I could play RTTS on the go. Drool...

For hockey fans, the game to watch this weekend is probably Bruins and Pens this Sunday, especially if Crosby returns (though now it seems likely).

Actually, if you turned post processing off on the Amalur demo it fixed the black screen. It was just an issue with the demo! I had the same issue.

The DLC says "Requires The Sims 3 on Steam", and from my experience with Borderlands, Steam DLC won't work with retail games unless otherwise stated.

I don't know if it's ending any time soon. Once it's sent, you have 14 days to start, and the trial is your standard 7 day affair (not sure if there's a level cap or locked content).

Looks like SWTOR is letting subscribers (possibly just founders) give out free trials to their friends.

Having never played Mass Effect before (any of them), would I be cheating myself if I snagged the PS3 version of ME2 and just used the graphic novel thingy at the beginning to make ME1 story decisions before jumping to ME3?

Seems like wasted effort. Aggregated user reviews are one of the most useless metrics in the world. If they tag clouded the reviews maybe (so we could see recurring themes). But numeric scores are just hives of scum and villainy and trolls. Generally, I trust people who have been playing games for years, have some

Haha, I was probably a bit overly harsh. For a lot of games it does work very well. But a lot of blockbusters seems to just draw armies of angry fanboys (every Modern Warfare, most anything Bioware).

You should never, ever listen to user reviews on Metacritic. It's becoming more and more like the idiotic wastelands of YouTube, with whiny people looking to complain. There is no way the game is a 2.3. If you liked the series, get it.

That's the vibe I'm getting. Microsoft isn't dumb enough (or at least I hope they aren't dumb enough) to turn Forza into a yearly franchise and dilute the market.

As a fun, adult spin on what are you playing, what will you be drinking along with your games?

I hate these posts. I see my graphics card so low down the list and feel my ePeen shrivel. Must. Fight. Urge. For. New. Card.

I would say it depends on how long you have the game, as well as whether the DLC is worth replaying.

I totally agree. That was me sarcastically quoting how some atheists seem to come across.

A majority of people have an us versus them mentality (see "racism", "classism", "sexism", etc). We're hard wired to dislike those that differ from us, though some religious people certainly use their beliefs to reinforce the idea.

I was being sarcastic and overstating how many internet atheists seem to come across. I doubt many actually believe that (maybe they do), but sometimes I wonder.
