Ouch. Did you get it at release and pre-patches? Or more recently?

So how is Brink? A friend of mine has enjoyed the free weekend so much he's probably going to buy it, so I am anxious to give it a try as well. I had wanted to but was busy playing guitar at an open mic, then friends came over for some Black Ops zombies LAN action. We finally made it to lvl. 22, which is good for us.
She's since been hired to work for Punkbuster.
All the games are on sale right now at 25-50% off. Package price is full retail value. Individual is the cost of all the games sans package discount.
Definitely snagging the Quakecon pack (I only have Oblivion on my Steam list), and am considering pre-ordering Skyrim to save the extra $14. However, I was unaware the game was retailing for $60, not $50, and am balking at spending the money, even though I want the game day one.
Holy mother loving acid washed jeans! The Quakecon pack on Steam is freaking amazing! And I don't own most of the games in it!
Got to see them live a few months back. One of the best live bands I've ever seen. They were so amped up and crazy. Plus gypsy punk is great.
I can't believe suckers would pay $90 to go to a convention for one game. How stupid are the fans?
Oh yeah. I forgot about the MW2 co-op. I could never convince friends to play along in that mode, so it kind of faded from memory. They're always down to shoot zombies though.
Zombie mode is the reason I prefer Black Ops to the Infinity Ward offerings. I get tired of the single player levels and online multiplayer eventually gets too "hardcore" for me. But I will never get tired of high score chasing with friends in Zombies mode.
Looks like it's an all zombies pack (one new map plus four remakes from WaW), which is good, because those are the only maps I ever play from the DLC anyway.
Touche. Plus, they can transfer the money to another pre-order. Like Battlefield 3. I hear that fans of both games are very supportive of the other franchise...
Gamestop's gotta be pissed. There go a lot of pre-ordered copies, because if you're going to this convention, you probably had this pre-ordered on day 1.
So all rhythm games look alike to you, eh? That's raci... er, genre-ist?
As a human being, I feel the pain of those who can't get HBO Go thanks to Time Warner.
I am sensing a trend so I am curious...
Every joke requires some set-up of previous knowledge to work. Puns require knowledge of linguistic nuance which are lost on non-native speakers. Ironic situations require knowledge of expected outcomes that may not be understood from another cultural frame of reference. Even potty humor requires knowledge of social…
Someone should patent "patent trolling", and sue every time someone does it for infringing on their copyrights. It'd be so meta.
So I upgraded my PC last week and forgot to factor in one final expense: now that it's running I have an irresistible urge to buy new PC games, even though I already have a lot I need to beat. Hopefully I can stave it off with the promise of fall (Skyrim, BF3, Deus Ex, mmm) and replaying some classics like Metro 2033,…
Wait, what? I loved Morrowind to death, but the conversation system was a mess. Every NPC had the same generic phrases and responses, and it was often hard to figure out what you were even asking. You have very strange standards about what constitutes good conversation trees...
