It's on sale for $5 today on Direct2Drive (CD key can be used in Steam) so maybe I'll check it out. I've heard good things.

I think Metro 2033 in the new Crysis if you're looking to bring a little humility to your new system.

Ah, RB3. I need to play that game more. In college I was a total addict. Bought tons of DLC and endless setlisted drums and guitar. I haven't even tried the endless setlist in the new one.

Granted I have hardly gotten to put mine through its paces, but it seems like a really nice card. Definitely a noticeable boost over my 4870 (got around P4200 in 3DMark 11). I'd say go for it if you have the money. Just be sure your case is nice and long, because it is a monstrosity of a card.

Yeah. That card should do it for sure. I was using an old AM2 board that couldn't even support newer Phenoms, so I was due for a total overhaul. But if you've got a newer Phenom or Core2 you should be in fine shape.

Yeah. I was running out of HDD space as well. Games seem to be getting bigger and bigger. It was probably a bit overkill, but I only try to do this every few years, so I wanted to make sure there's room for this baby to age.

Those are my big three as well for upgrading. I do it once every three years, which just happens to coincide with new Elder Scrolls games usually.

So I went into Fry's last night to price out some PC parts and left with a whole new system basically. I forgot how exciting piecing together a new system is! The whole thing dented my wallet to the tune of $1000, but hey: small price to pay for a rig that can comfortably handle Skyrim.

Impressive. I wasted my skills making the school lab PC's say profanities, how much I rule, and show dirty ASCII drawings.

I missed Tex Murphy somehow, but hells yeah for the others. Especially Jetfighter II. I loved that game, even if I could never land.

Just make sure you save BloodRayne and House of the Dead for when you can barely see straight. Only then will they be bearable.

Yeah. I've yet to actually try multiplayer. I fear I will just get rolled for being this late to the party. I am more excited for BF3 in the online front.

Yeah, I can see all of those as valid points, and if you dislike the game for that, I respect you as a connoisseur of shooter games.

So after three years of hating on Call of Duty (I had played all the originals up until COD4), I finally decided to give Black Ops a try. Guess what? Zombies mode is fantastic, and the main single-player, while at times feeling like the product of 12 year olds stringing every awesome Michael Bay-esque scene they can

I am not sure, but with the joy of the internet, it's pretty easy to be immersed in polarized speech from either side. I just used the examples I know. This isn't a case of one side being crazy. It's a case of someone with psychological issues who latched onto something he heard and took it too far.

Of course not all politically conservative people would do this. However, if you keep fabricating political strife using warfare imagery, its only a matter of time before someone with a mental imbalance takes things too far. Do you really think the screeching of people like Limbaugh and Beck (or for that matter

"Cry of the Banshee" by Brocas Helm came on my Spotify playlist and it made me want to replay Brutal Legend. So that's probably what I'll do!

Here's an interview with Owain and his family so you can put a face to the story.

Hey, good for Owain! That would've been my dream too at his age. And it's nice to see he went for something a bit outside the box and creative for his wish. Hopefully he'll be able to beat this thing and go on to make many more games!
