hype and actual yolk love are 2 very different things though, and while hype comes and goes runny yolks are forever.

Your Phone just works ,once it does. I use it every day. photos and text messages and easily done

whenever i am comped for something i ordered i tip the full amount of the thing. that’s what i would have paid anyways.

As in, make sure you get mom or dad to sign that form”

Parenting and biological processes are not really related. The term “Parent” is really about responsibility, family and connection and not biology.

I feel like “parents/guardian” is a fair option in addition to the other ones suggested in the post.

I don’t think we’re doing this to make somebody feel special. How about we do it to show an ounce of humanity to not (potentially) pour salt in the wound of a kid who may not have a mom & dad at home?

Let me give one

I grew up with only one parent raising me. My dad. I would never even think to be offended by something as trivial as someone wanted me to get something signed by my mom. I would just say ok and move on. It wasn't a big deal. But I guess I was raised right with a thick skin and the ability to shrug off the simple

I know several husband and husband couples that would not be offended by this. Grow a pair.

They actually are very proud thanks for asking.

Say “your tate and mame” and let them figure out the new words from the context of the statement and their home lives.

Who cares. If saying mom or dad offends you that much go crawl back under that rock you came from and cry about it.

Most people have parents, so no. We don’t need to continuously alter language to pander to everyone who doesn’t perfectly fit the scenario.

Drinking a Capri Sun in a meeting at a high level company is kind of a power move. I like that.

I really think the surcharge is the wrong approach.

Honestly, we’re at a point where thousands of restaurants have closed forever. That’s not just restaurant owners, but thats wait staff, cooks, dishwashers not to point out the ripple effect on wholesalers and distributers.
I get that things are tough out there, because food service is not the only industry that’s been

“I experienced a COVID-19 surcharge as early as late March,” said Jen Smith, who blogs at Modern Frugality and cohosts the Frugal Friends podcast. “I got an iced coffee from a local business that charged me a mandatory 15% tip. I understand small businesses are suffering but taking the choice to tip away from me made

There’s some interesting psychology when it comes to itemized fees. Rationally, I know that if I am comfortable with the total bottom-line price, it shouldn’t matter how it’s broken down. But my dumb monkey brain sees a surcharge and thinks: “They’re trying to screw me!”

That’s the level of discrimination and curation that I’ve come to expect from TED. None at all.

I like to imagine that The Tooch goes through vermouth so quickly he doesn’t need to store it in the fridge.
