I don’t eat hot dogs very often, but aren’t they usually horizontal? Are you trying to stand it on its end?

They’re also clearly not in a bathroom, so he could have known and not cared because the bill isn’t about selfies in public.

I’m going to have to remember that one.

I keep putting it on my calendar, but no one else ever shows up.

The worst part is that the price is so ridiculously high, we’ll never get to see how the market feels about the name.

One of my favorite things about motorcycles is that they are relatively inexpensive both as transport and hobby (compared to nice cars or boats). That said, I have no problem with people enjoying something that is way beyond what any sane person would pay for a motorcycle.

Yes. I think I even acknowledged that in my original comment. Sure, it is in all kinds of less obvious things, but gluten is usually packaged with sugar and refined carbs. By avoiding gluten, you generally eat less of them, too. That is, unless you fill those gaps with gluten-free yet still full of sugar and refined

I wasn’t really suggesting anything people should or shouldn’t do, just pointing out the reversibility of the logic in your original post.

There are a whole lot of assumptions here that make me wonder if you are replying to the right person.

I guess you could say they are apples and oranges, but it seems strange that our society gives nonsensical ideologies a pass, yet gets annoyed with nutritional concerns. That said, if someone wants to eat differently from most others they shouldn’t expect everyone else to eat like them.

Could be. Although if your body must be accustomed to something in order to not get sick from eating it, it could also be said that it might not be good to eat in the first place.

Right. Eat whatever you want, but if you want something nobody else wants, bring your own snacks.

Do you feel this way about vegetarians and Jewish (or any other religion that excludes certain foods) people, too?

I guess it depends how sensitive you are. Some cheeses naturally have very little lactose at all. Same with whole (heavy) cream.

Thanks.

All of those things you listed can be bad for you, especially if you eat a lot of them.

Haha, that is pretty silly. I guess it is similar to people who claim to be vegetarians because they don’t want animals to die, but ignore all the thousands of animals that are killed (and then not even eaten) to harvest the grains and other plants they are ok with eating.

That’s the thing. They aren’t bad as their own thing, but they certainly aren’t effective substitutes for actual pasta.

Yes. It’s awful. I like cauliflower, but it isn’t an acceptable substitute for anything except other cauliflower. I’ve tried it as imitation bread/crust, potatoes, rice, etc. None tasted bad, but they were clearly just whatever I was eating with cauliflower and the flavor and texture is never even close to what it is
