This happened to me on my volvo 850, with heavy snow killing the wipers, except because it was a volvo they built in a fail safe and there was one bolt that undid itself between each wiper and the motor that was easy to tighten back up. Oh the swedes know how to do winter!

Boo Urns!

Well that’s like... Your opinion man.

Is it just me or do you not get much back legroom for all that heft?

The other thing to keep in mind is that all these cars that are recently available for import now often don’t need anything more specialized than the proper socket set in order to be worked on. As we move deeper into what can be imported the cars will get more complicated and more prone to expensive fixes that can’t

Very excited about these! I’m nursing a 2002 V6 Passat manual wagon along in old(ish) age now. For a while I was thinking a TSX Wagon or Prius V would be on the short list for its replacement, but this has peaked my interest.

Not to be that guy... But... does the rear end of the Saurus remind you of a certain Bugatti? Maybe the Veyron? It’s basically just the slope and the tailights and the paint... but wow.

Kei cars are the cheapest way towards Cars and Coffee/Instagram stardom!

I’m figuring VW beetle or Volvo 240 would be pretty high on that list.

I saw this concept at the Nismo factory and it’s as lovely and perfect as you think it is!

Bless your soul! Your stories help keep me motivated to pick away at my project car.

BMW couldn’t have paid for better publicity for that bike.

I’ve been working on a 1974 super beetle and the first time we got it on the road after a hiatus of realizing everything that was wrong and (attempting) to thoroughly address it - well that was a magical experience. I see that reflected in your “if you hit the gas just right” it will start. I just really enjoyed the

This is both amazing and terribly sad. These cars more than almost any other exotic were meant to be driven and enjoyed.

WRXs.

Why don’t you pay for this free publication? ;)

Plus AWD unless you went with an R32 which only came with the V6 and I assume are holding their value well. And that body in the TT!!! It’s kind of the height of Audi’s tuetonic design motif and probably will go down as a borderline future classic.

I’ve been looking around recently and this blew my mind as well! Honestly as long as there’s no rust these can’t be THAT much harder to maintain than a similar era golf.

I won’t care until that engine is in a minivan!

Might I also suggest the only slightly less sexy and slower option of the TSX wagon. It’s in the same price range and will come without the Audi headaches.
