The Guelphette and I saw that trailer before one of the Marvel movies and both started laughing at that line.

I could see him doing a New Mutants or Generation X, something that plays up the "outcast weirdos" angle without being too dark.
The Guelphette is fond of the phrase "Let's get this show on the road". It's even sexier in the moment.
I really am the three-time winner of the local Redneck Games.
It was in Rome's case. Season 2 really, really should have been broken up into two seasons.
It makes as much sense as starting the fight with hand-to-hand combat before bringing out the apparently far more powerful long-ranged weapons… at close range.
Phipps' pan of it has one of my favorite opening lines in a review ever.
Or his similarly vexed "END! ENNNNNNND!!!" during the denouement of Wild World of Batwoman.
This deserves way more upvotes.
I'm fairly certain the French will the very last holdouts on that front.
The Patriot is frustrating because it has one really, really good scene (Gibson and the two kids taking out the redcoat squad), and the rest is rage-inducing stupidity from start to finish.
Cyvasse.
Also according to Wikipedia,
"Whatcha reading?"
"Great Expectations."
"Is it any good?"
"It's not all I hoped for."
Ugh, someone cut down Buck Mulligan. He's starting to stink.
Maybe, has anyone checked on that?
Sam's delivery of "No, I said, what kind of bird are *you*?" is amazing. Mack daddy in short pants.
Andalos. Someone mentions it to Tyrion as they're traveling through it. It's in sort of the middle of the area that the 9 free cities are in.
No doubt on that. I tried to put it in that context and let it go, but was unsuccessful. I have other issues with it besides that, but that definitely colored the rest of the novel for me.
I just got through that myself. I was willing to let the casual misogyny go (not to mention Jubal the Larry Stu) as part of an earlier time and mindset until the part where Gillian tells Mike that 9 times out of 10, when a girl gets raped, it's at least partly her own fault.
