Only manufacturer issued adapters will allow proper charging abilities

“MOLON LABE”, “come and take it”, “try that in a small town”, blue stripe flags, “WARNING: driver is armed”, there are many other idiot self-labelling bumper stickers around where I live that tell gun thieves exactly where to get what they want.

Either I got Kinja’d, or I just forgot to include the incredibly important, “in Memphis” part of that sentence. It’s been fixed.

Small town America fixer.

I was thinking of this car last week.  Someone at MotorWeek found it and bought it back and I want to say they were going to have Pat do some work on it to get it back on the road and they surprised him with it on air.  Then Pat passed and we hadn’t heard anything more on it.  This answers that question.  RIP Pat Goss

Sorry, don’t think this is a particularly iconic Ferrari, not old enough to be classic, but old enough to be not particularly fast vs. newer, less exotic competition. Also kinda dumpy looking.

“Code-Cleared”???

I own a Chinese EV, MG5LR, around 25K when brand new... looks like a Passatt estate car, even down to the steering wheel... it’s not top of the range good, but coming up to 3 years old, it’s proved as capable as any other car I owned... the UK doesn’t really have any car makers, all owned by foreign interests now.

The livery reminds me of Kodak film boxes.

This is not a 1972 Celica:

I’m not a Palou fan, but I do love a speedy rainbow.

The problem in the first place was adopting NACS.

I have an unnatural love for the Saturn L-series cars, especially wagons. I don’t need a wagon but I like them.

Beautifully written, and lovely to meet you, Amber!

A huge part of Tesla’s unique value proposition is the Supercharging network. Seeing as their entire Supercharger team was just laid off, that doesn’t inspire confidence when you’re about to spend $40k+ on one of their cars. I don’t fault people for thinking twice.

The Cybertruck is a “beast” in the same way that a Vespa scooter is a “hog.”

Rock on Amber, thanks for being you

Good for you Amber!  Nice to meet you!

Champing at the bit*

At this point I feel they are purposely sabotaging the EV market so they can scream about it failing so they can get back to ICE vehicles.
