Nah, they make their money subletting to folks like you.

Sadly, they’re in the business of knocking out low-effort articles that get clicks. Used to be those might subsidize some good journalism, now they probably subsidize the Herb’s greens fees and coke dealer.

Nice! They really did a good job making the battery less boxy, instead of hiding it under plastic panels.

Naw. They’re a delightful couple with a lot to lose, and this is isn’t “reality” TV so there’s no safety-net or fixers

3rd Gear: Lucid is staffing up on telematics folks and I’ve been tempted to check them out. They’ve got $1B of Saudi money to play with, that’s a pretty long runway.

Used cars at 100% of the vehicles on the roads in USA what’s the point of selling new cars?  Though EVs are outselling stick-shifts I hear.  ‘Scuse me while I go yell at the kids on my lawn.

Yeah, Li battery production has been the limiting factor from the beginning. I give Tesla some credit for going vertical on that.

The Kubota came mostly with fresh hydraulic hoses, but one of the old ones blew so I have to replace the rest of them. And as soon as I have some good wrenching weather, I get to split the tractor and replace a transmission seal or two. It’s doing pretty well for nearly 40 years old.

“Ride your own ride” is the most important safety and mental-health advice there is. Thank you Bradley for living that entertainingly and sharing the results.

Holy crap, so the spouse of someone who makes $40k suffers half as much emotionally as one who makes $80k?  This is like the “animals don’t feel pain the way humans do” line, but for poor people.

You do know the injuries the “McDonald’s hot coffee lady” suffered, yes?

Pain and suffering doesn’t amplify the amount by an order of magnitude.

I just assume that I’m a lot more likely to use my own Uninsured Motorist coverage than someone else’s nonexistent Liability coverage.

Current fleet names:
F-250 - “Charlene” (spouse felt that was a good name for a big strong thirsty gal)
SV650 - “Jinx” (used to strand me until I dealt with battery/charging issues)
Buell - “Velma” (named for her wide orange gastank by previous owner)
DR-Z - “Spike” (used to be decorated in punk rock spikes)
Kubota tractor

Wish I could star you for each of those bumper-stickers.

Can’t wait to see it, though (assuming shipping works out) I’m set for electric motorcycles for now.

Very good all-around bike. You can putt around slow while you learn the clutch, then hit Cycle Gear for a dirtbike helmet with matching goggles and a pair of cheap mesh padded pants and coat and be on your way.

As a college grad myself, I will feel ripped off if Millennials get their loans paid off after I paid off my own loans.

TIL I learned that Rule 34 applies to gated shifters too.
