No thoughts head full of Charlotte Ritchie

enter here the canonical answer: “better”...

Yes.

When does Hillary Swank show up?

Hey! Aisling Bea!

I know she’s already dead by Mandalorian, but she’d make an incredible Asajj Ventres, and I would love nothing more than to see a mature Snips fight her in live action.

Because reactionaries inherently think the status quo is fair, and any measure of equity given to others means you are either taking from them, or demeaning the “hard work” they put in to get what they have. They don’t regard the fact that their privilege comes from exploitation of anyone else, so they balk at others’

I absolutely believe that there are. This is Star Wars to them, not the prequels, not the originals, but these. The sequel trilogy, Rebels, Clone Wars, Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett, etc. This is what’s marketed towards them the same way that the original trilogy was marketed towards GenXers when they were kids.

Space Jam is awful.  It was awful then, and it’s awful now.  It is the epitome of this post’s thesis.

Hopefully, being a Zack Snyder production it will have full breasted starships as if made by James Cameron.

There’s a really decent horror movie premise with this!

I wonder if they’re going to set him up as a foil to the other overpowered character in the MCU, Carol Danvers.  This was always the risk: you have characters too strong, and your plots are limited because everybody’s asking, “Why doesn’t Carol (or Adam Warlock) just come in and kick the villain’s ass?”

Well, if the Nike guy likes it, maybe he'll want to see the sequels?

I agree with 99% of your review Brick HM but somehow still like the movie.

aside from that, like my spouse often says.. dont remake good movies cause you’ll never be as good as the original. remake movies that were good premises but failed in their execution. this seems to be a movie that could be that.

fingers crossed

Didn’t Moffat write “Jekyll” in 2007? It was amazing and great. So no thanks... we already got one!

I remember quite a few things about Mystery Men (which I remember fondly, but I’m guessing doesn’t hold up even before reading this), but I have no memory of All Star being in there.

There’s also the Lamda-class shuttle Tydirium

True enough. They’ve always called it “Luke’s X-Wing.” He never named it, even though he had it since he was 18. Only capital ships and the Millennium Falcon have ever had names said in movies.

Quietly Consume”
Should be a large sign in every cinema. :)

There are more and more theaters offering that experience, at least in cities. The Alamo drafthouse chain is GREAT for quiet theaters, clean screens, and projectionists who don’t fuck anything up.
