This is why the American film industry ended up in Southern California, after starting out on the East Coast — a wide variety of landscapes and climates, all just a few hours’ drive away.

So Doctor Aphra confirmed?
Probably not, but should would be perfect.
With his bald head and lantern jaw I suspect he was the first choice to play Thanos
Gemma Whelan is currently playing The Monk or Nun and Nicola Walker is excelling as Liv Chenka, companion to the Eighth Doctor.
Given some of the roles Nicola Walker has played (particularly in the dramas by Julian Simpson) she would be a perfect fit - except she’s currently Liv Chenka.
these are pretty good choices
The first Pirates is the best, but my hot take is that I don’t think the gulf from 1 to 2/3 is all that big...
Nah, would play havoc with the shooting schedule. Can’t shoot during the day at all. I’d say it’s about time for a dhampir director. They get far less representation anyway, vampires were everywhere ten years ago.
Domee Shi previously directed the Pixar short, Bao (which you can watch on Disney+), which was incredibly creative, well animated, and a real gut punch of a film. So I'm pretty interested in this one.
Is it just me or is Pixar’s character design looking more and more like Aardman’s?
Sooo...Katie Kaboom from Animaniacs, just different enough for legal purposes? 😉
I definitely lost interest when he died.
Poor Mobius stuck in a different limbo
In the original mythology, Loki turned himself into a mare and birthed Sleipnir. So, gender and species changes are probably not out of the norm for him.
Yeah, Loki’s a thousand-years-old, he’s a God, he can transcend time and space...pretty sure you’d get bored of fucking women all the time. Hell, he turns himself in a woman to seduce men from time-to-time, and he’s probably fucked numerous creatures, sexual or not, from various dimensions in his lifetime.
i’m grateful to this “controversey” for teaching me about the Firespray name, that’s so sick, possibly more sick than Slave 1?
But this is an adaptation of the disney movie, not the Grimm fairytale. I’m not being pedantic, just pointing out the literal title. You’re the one being pedantic by trying to correct people by bringing in an unrelated author’s self confessed errors here, not me.
Will Grumpy say “and my axe”?
It’s literally called “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”. Tolkien even admitted his use of “dwarves” was accidental.
“I am afraid it is just a piece of private bad grammar, rather shocking in a philologist; but I shall have to go with it”
