Two years out from release means hardly anything has been animated yet, perhaps recording voices hasn’t even begun, so it’s no big deal to replace an actor. And it’s not like his voice was critical to the success of the movie, in that one it was entirely the animators who shone.

I hated school sports. Summer we had to play softball or cricket, winter we played rugby or soccer. I chose the easiest, softball and soccer, and was terrible at both and just wanted to run away.
I remember the exact time I first saw a Dragon’s Lair game in real life, it was December 84, but I knew of it before as I’d seen an article on TV, I think it was on Entertainment Tonight or something.
