There is absolutely nothing cool about people who can’t figure out how to have fun without weed and alcohol. This describes most people.

The full quote just makes so much more stupid.

I get the feeling this isn’t a good look. What do you think?

The whole “talent” argument is a largely meaningless dead end that is really more about spectacle, a meager understanding of art, and identity aspirations. So tired of hearing it.

Thanks!

I have the same question!

So don’t dream big unless you come from money is the acceptable alternative? Cool.

Saying that Sanders “over-conflates”(I’m not sure what that means) the fight against economic inequality over racism isn’t a great argument. The article linked to justify this position is awfully superficial. Racial and economic equality go hand in hand. The benefits of racial equality as it stands really only

“Jargon” doesn’t make anything “devoid of meaning.” You know, sort of like how calling someone out for making short comments about Star Wars on sister sites doesn’t really say much of anything at all. I get you feel the need to be a blowhard about something, but it’s just not working.

What does doing something after 9/11 have to do with Iraq?

Because critical analysis is sorely lacking in the articles. And people sometimes discuss this place as radical (even if it really isn’t).

Sorry. :(

Absolutely. I hope no one believes that’s what I was saying. Separately from the issue at hand, parties and bars are not cool or fun.

No. Stars Wars is likely my only pop-culture interest. You can inform me when there is a real critical discussion here that addresses the deference to neoliberal manifestation in pop art and the open recognition of conservatism that has a steady pulse on this site. Thanks for checking.

I don’t know, staying home and doing cool stuff seems like a pretty good deal over going to parties.

Really not feeling that in general but I appreciate the sharpness when I see it.

I can see having reservations if you’re not keen on cinematic violence. Sorta feel like I want to watch this again this.

Bronson is okay. I think it’s my least favorite of his films. It’s good but I prefer the other films.

It wasn’t pointless at all! I haven’t seen it since it was released, so I’m not in a position to discuss details, but there were so many subtle and strange scenes that composed instances of guilt and failed redemption.

I don’t think the regular readership here really gets that sort of stuff :(
