What gets me about this is that “schmaltzy explosion of pedestrian melodic sentiment” describes Beyonce’s music as well as pretty much all pop performers. It’s all very corny even if the spectacle of performance distracts from the generic and uninspired sound.

Beyonce is just as corny as Coldplay. All of you are dumb.

The part about her being a progressive makes little sense.

Just out of curiosity— because I really don’t know anyone who is supporting Clinton’s campaign— what is it in Clinton’s policy plan that excites you? I think she is a wonderful realist, understands power and bureaucracy, intelligent, etc but there is nothing in her platform that inspires or proposes necessary…

The problem with Clinton is that she is a Republican. I’d vote for her over any Republican candidate, but she is not a representation of social or economic progressiveness. She is very much the status quo and we need to break from that.

All of this sounds like standard pop music. If you’re listening to any kind of pop music, you’re never listening to deep cuts or whatever you pretend you’re jamming.

I don’t know which radio station you’re listening to but that’s not what’s being played around here. Also, if an artist is being played on the radio, that performer is most likely garbage.

A variety of stations play his music because they are paid to do so. It’s marketing, not being popular or good.
