Gah, i found this out the hardway when the FIL brought his fozzy xt over with a CEL. Turns out he still had one of those banjo bolt screens in place and hadn’t been regular about changing his oil. When asked “when was the oil last changed” he replied “last time you did it” which was likely over a year prior to that

i would wager since you actually purchased them much like a dvd, you will keep access to that material.

My hot take: SUVs, at least the $50000 mall crawler kind, are not a necessity - they are a toy (similar to a CUV, minivan, station wagon). I understand that parking lots are not suitable for a $50000 mall crawler. Great. Don’t use them. Also though, do not ride in the middle of a lane originally meant for horses.

To be fair, I have come across a lot of disrespectful motorists. The most common offense I encounter is running red lights or stop signs as if they weren’t even there or didn’t apply to them, and unexpectedly swerving from the shoulder into the middle of the lane in front of me without any sort of turn signals. I’m

It really isn’t that bad.
But for the intent on generating interest to readers, it has to sound bad. The hot hatch segment existing is evidence enough that FWD is not bad by any means. That market succeeds because they are highly driveable and practical (pricewise and lifestyle wise).

consider this a formal request for this as a level in any future top gear expansion in forza please.

would absolutely see a F9 with John Cena and Dave Bautista. Especially if that makes vinny and tyrese feel upstaged.

If we’re lucky that guy who’s doing the machine-learning NC face swaps can fix that for us.

Beautiful piece. Thank you.

was gonna say the exact same thing.

Can’t wait for the new service that aggregates all the collective streaming services for one flat rate fee.....

... wait shit.

Agreed. There are plenty of crazy awesome projects in good engineering schools, and plenty of good engineering schools that happen to have sport programs in parallel. It’s almost like the sport programs are advertisements for the rest of the school. *Crazy*

great read. love hearing other’s stories about wrenching to keep a classic on the road.

Oh for sure. I’ve been involved with the mk7 enthusiast groups for the last 3 years and have seen all manner of swaps at this point. It’s crazy to think on a stock block with very little help that 350+ is not out of the realm of possibilities.

My bias is go for the golf sportwagen or alltrack. If you need more fun out of it, drop a bit of coin and pull from the VW parts bin of upgrades to go “DIY Golf R Estate” that the US doesn’t get.
This is one of those dad-dream builds that i have.

It looks great and all, but are we all in agreement that we have to wait for 46 more revisions of this to care?

Here’s hoping this pilot program continues it’s trickle down for us plebs in GTIs.

Well played.

Panoz Esperante: For when you’re feeling fancy, but at the end of the day you still want to hit bystanders at cars and coffee.

Love it. One of those cars that legitimately deserves the title of “outlaw porsche”
