I suspect the vehicles were bought because “everyone else” had them and maybe a little bit of the dreaded “you got something nice and new so I do too” marriage dynamic.

The Model 3/Y buyers are mostly the exact same yuppie crowd that used to lease a 3 series. No surprise they drive the same way. The new Model 3 even has non-traditional turn signal to ensure they are similarly disused.

Musk is such a vile POS, I could never buy one of his MAGA mobiles. Mind you, douchebag Telsa driver isn’t helping at all. They’ve quickly taken the crown from BMW guy as the most reckless driver.

Just waiting for the Tesla fanboys to brigade the comments.

“They told me this is an exotic car so everyone wants it,” David says.

Dude has 793 followers on Instagram and like a dozen posts. If he doesn’t have a following now, it’s not gonna change when he buys a $68k Hyundai.

They are all independent businesses. The one three miles from my house is *awful*. That’s the one that makes the sales droids hang out in a tent in the parking lot in FL - all year ‘round. And puts a $3K non-negotiable package of TruKote on all the cars. But the one 20 miles away was perfectly fine to deal with when I

Play Hyundai dealership games, win Hyundai dealership prizes.

The “they took our jobs” crowd will say it should have been legal US residents doing the work, but I dont see a whole lot of them wanting these god awful jobs. We run on immigrants being willing to do the jobs the rest of us dont want, and for the good or bad, being willing to do it for less pay than we would be

I hope the readers here take note of the surnames and ancestry of the road workers who lost their lives here. Almost a year ago to the day (March 23, 2023) 6 workers were killed on another part of the 695 beltway when a car crashed through a work zone, and most of those workers were also from central America,

Darn it, my brand new Suzano Pulp Sport was on that boat...

Almost all shipping into the US is foreign-flagged. Singapore would not be first on my list of flags to worry about. In a relative way, the US merchant fleet is almost non-existent.

The ‘techs’ that do only oil changes or move the stuff around the lot and shop. It sounds better that we will have ‘the tech’ do it, rather than pointing out the kid vaping behind the stack of tires and said ‘well have Thad take care of you’

Every dad ever.

I’m missing the part when stealing a kid’s boarding pass, and causing an unescorted minor incredible stress, is funny.
