Id think they would be considered a sub-brand of theirs at worst. Honestly I think this is overall a net good thing for Rivian. I think they were really needing the cash until the R2 comes out, that thing should really propel them forward rapidly (hope its good). I really want that company to succeed for some odd

Now we have 250K miles on a 2011 Sorento that, with regular oil changes and tire rotations, just keeps going.

Yes, I had this happen to me at a Nissan dealership. They were going to evaluate my car while I test drove a new car. When negotiations broke down, suddenly they couldn’t “find” my keys. They kept trying refocus my attention on the new car. When I kept demanding my keys back, the salesman got pissed and started

Honest question — why does one give the dealership their car keys (for them to “lose”)? Is this for trade-in value inspection? If so, why wouldn’t you want to be monitoring their “inspection” to make sure nothing is rooked?

With all the US VW dealer shenanigans, i’m 120% sure we will see crazy mark ups on the last issue of pure-gasoline Golf Rs. After I did 120k absolutely amazing miles on my Mk7, I was shopping for a Mk8. And I got so fed up with all their BS so I went to Audi bought an RS3.

A car typically doesn’t “need” ChatGPT in the sense that it won’t improve the car’s mechanical functions or performance directly. However, integrating ChatGPT or similar AI technology into a car can enhance the user experience in several ways:

It looks so much better - and then I realized it’s because it looks like a Golf GTI from 2018. Why didn’t the Jetta look like this in 2019 at launch instead of the fugly Jetta we got instead?

I’m not saying what this person(s) did was right, but part of me definitely understands and appreciates their moxie.

Ok Florida. You can stick around a bit longer.

The fact that Toyota is fine making a production 300hp corolla but not a 300hp GR86 is baffling to me. I guess they didn’t want it competing with the supra but now that the supra is going away, maybe there’s a chance?

The new season of Top Gear looks like shit.

I’ve watched the carwow’s walk around video last night and my brain still cannot compute the whole steering wheel design. It’s just absolutely mind boggling.

You missed the point, it’s not be supposed to integrated. It actually folds away when not in use so it does not ruin the interior. They see the screen as a necessary evil rather than a part of the interior. I actually wish more cars did this, retracting the screen when not in use as the software on these screens is

It hides away if you don’t want to see it, and all of the car’s functions can be controlled without it.

Is that not how a design language usually works?

I’ve been watching his P1 series (as apparently EVERYONE into cars has) and I still don’t understand him getting rid of the hybrid system.  The hybrid system is what made that car special.

I’ve had three generations of VW’s and never had major issues that any other similarly aged / worn car wouldn’t have.

That’s fine, I use Firefox anyway.

Just a heads up. The $130,000 and $150,000 price tags on these special edition cars do not include mandatory floor mats. Once your dealer adds those you’ll be looking at $230,000 and $250,000 respectively.

Sad to see what is likely the end of the ICE GT-R but it’s not unexpected. The price kept crawling up to the space of some interesting competition and the same cars it was made to look bad for the price. It was no longer the “poor man’s supercar”. Even with the Playstation on wheels energy that it gave from the
