Every fun car I’ve ever owned would have had their doors blown off by my wife’s minivan. But I miss all those fun cars. A tiny car that weighs less than three of my more juicer farts is insanely fun to drive, even if there are less than 3 digits in the hp and/or torque departments.

Man, I have to keep reiterating that the V6 Camry doesn’t make that good of use of its 300 hp. If you pay attention to 0-60 times, the Camry’s is 5.8 seconds. The problem is because it doesn’t hit peak torque until it gets all the way up to 4,700 rpm.  

So you are comparing the power figures of 1.6L 3 cylinders to a 3.5L 6 cylinders.............. Interesting

You do realize there’s just a bit of a weight difference between the two, right?

yeah, cause a 3400 lbs front wheel drive sedan surely has the same driving characteristics as a purpose built rally homologation special that weighs 400 lbs less.....
