The Wrangler is a license for FCA (excuse me, Stellantis) to print money. There’s a waiting list for used ones. It’s the 4 wheel counterpart to a Harley, a cosplaymobile (for most buyers, let’s be honest). The accessories the parts dept. can sell are more profitable than the whole Fiat lineup.

I rented one for a week and disagree completely. They are big on the outside, small on the inside, and ride extremely crudely compared to unibody SUV’s..... And with the old school 4x4 system don’t even think about making a tight turn with them in 4wd on dry pavement.

Honestly, so many crossovers are all curvy and cute to avoid looking too truck like, it’s nice to see something a little more modern and rectilinear that doesn’t require you to go to Moab to get your money’s worth.

The Bronco is the halo vehicle, the Bronco Sport trades on the Bronco brand while being a soft-roader build on a Ford Escape foundation. The Sport will probably be the big seller.
