I have zero shame driving mine to work and parking in the garage next to high end Mercedes, BMWs, Audis, etc. Always receive compliments on how my car looks. It really is a jack of all trades - go for one! Have had mine 4+ years and still love it to death.

Of course, but vinyl still can’t match paint in my opinion. Good for quick color changes, but never a substitute for a full on, detailed effect.

Yep, can certainly be done. It will add some gloss to the wrap, but more importantly helps to keep it clean as it’s hydrophobic once coated, etc.

If exterior color alone is the objective, sure. But even the best vinyl wrap can’t match the depth, clarity, and shine of properly polished and sealed/ceramic coated paint.  Not to mention details like door jams, engine bay, etc.

How much are used RS3's going for these days?  CPO?

I prefer bringing it more in line with the previous DBS (and older Astons in general). Way more elegant this way.

Not a fan of the massive grille at all. Took a stab at adjusting the front to better match the prior DBS treatment. Looks WAAAYYY better in my opinion.

It’s genuinely surprising when you see the 2 directly next to each other. Here’s the 919 and 911 next to each other for size comparison.

This. Would love high res versions for my computer and iPhone backgrounds!

Crazy what a little research online can do, huh? Lol.

Corollas are LED. I’m convinced that they are improperly aimed/calibrated from the factory. Every single Corolla I see is blinding, and it’s definitely not their high beams, as those are separate halogens still.

Data is data I suppose. But it also depends on what you classify as an “issue”. Skimming through some of the stuff there - I dont know if a screw in one’s tire or a burnt out bulb can really be classified as a sweeping “issue” across the whole platform lol.

I have had my car 3+ years (was essentially one of the first 50 or so Mk7s in the US) and keep abreast of all the major forums, groups, and TSBs.

On the whole, the MK7 platform has proven to be way more reliable than the MK6 (which is still technically a revised MK5). Not to mention how much more advanced it is.

I concur. 3+ years with my Mk7 and it still puts a smile on my face each and every day.

VW Carbon Steel Metallic ftw <3
