Of course, but vinyl still can’t match paint in my opinion. Good for quick color changes, but never a substitute for a full on, detailed effect.
Yep, can certainly be done. It will add some gloss to the wrap, but more importantly helps to keep it clean as it’s hydrophobic once coated, etc.
If exterior color alone is the objective, sure. But even the best vinyl wrap can’t match the depth, clarity, and shine of properly polished and sealed/ceramic coated paint. Not to mention details like door jams, engine bay, etc.
Finally! For anyone curious to see these colors on real world cars, here’s an awesome thread compiling them: https://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?8886106-2018-Golf-R-Mk7-5-Colour-quot-Booklet-quot

Crazy what a little research online can do, huh? Lol.
The owner is Christine Fritsch. Here’s a thread on a McLaren forum about the crash where she chimes in and confirms: http://www.mclarenlife.com/forums/driver-s-lounge/89578-i-crashed-my-720s.html
Corollas are LED. I’m convinced that they are improperly aimed/calibrated from the factory. Every single Corolla I see is blinding, and it’s definitely not their high beams, as those are separate halogens still.
I have had my car 3+ years (was essentially one of the first 50 or so Mk7s in the US) and keep abreast of all the major forums, groups, and TSBs.
On the whole, the MK7 platform has proven to be way more reliable than the MK6 (which is still technically a revised MK5). Not to mention how much more advanced it is.
I concur. 3+ years with my Mk7 and it still puts a smile on my face each and every day.
