Can confirm. Was next to a really nice new E class at a light yesterday and caught the driver just ogling the hell out of my Mk7 haha. He caught me looking at him and just smiled as he pointed at the badge on the fender.

But Quattro is still alive and well in Audi’s lineup...

Amy MacDonald?

There’s a thread on Final Gear called “most distracting audience members” lol.

VW posted this on Instagram with the below caption.

It did.

In regards to the wait list for some of these cars: To be fair, Subaru uses a "just-in-time" system for their inventory on dealer lots. Subaru dealers all over the country have faced inventory issues and often custom order vehicles for those customers willing to wait.

I'm willing to bet a majority of these issues are either user error/misunderstanding, or unreliable software or hardware on the mobile devices' parts.

Precisely why I love how VW placed the camera behind the VW emblem on my hatch. Engage reverse and the emblem flips open so the camera can see out.

Coming from an automotive retail advertising background, I must say the Infiniti renaming was a complete disaster. In theory and on paper, it makes complete sense. But when vehicles remain completely unchanged save for a badge, it leads to complete and utter confusion more than anything. Not to mention that X used to

Yep. Doesn't stop us from importing and retrofitting the euro parts though lol. Unfortunately, us Mk7 folks need to rewire everything though as VW left out the separate signal wire... =/

It's not a cost issue - its the antiquated laws in the US that require turn signals to be a certain surface area rather than a specific color or brightness. The Euro signals don't meet that requirement. I'm currently in the same predicament with my 2015 GTI.

Couldn't agree more. In fact, I've done a fair bit of research on this as my new GTI doesn't have the euro spec LED tail lights. Turns out the US regulates turn signals not on the color, but on the "effective illuminated area". In other words, they measure how many square inches of tail light is illuminated for each

The Mk7 sunroof is the panoramic kind and slides up and over the roof when open (rather then down and back in between the roof/headliner). No compromise on headroom at all.

Holy crap, thats insane. I paid that much for my loaded GTI Autobahn DSG.

Me too lol. I'd rather not divulge that info here though haha - but a quick bit of googling should lead you in the right direction.

I'm slightly ashamed to admit I work at the ad agency responsible for this... (Thankfully not on this account though)

Clearly you've never driven a Mk7. No torque steer to speak of. Honestly. They did a fantastic job with the MQB platform.

You had meat? What happened to it?
