Yeah, I have a feeling this is coming from higher up in BBC, and not from the Top Gear folks themselves. The guys as well as the producers/writers were known to browse the forums and even participated from time to time.

What the hell are you on about?

Crazy stuff.

Perhaps. Not sure how or if an SMG can be converted to full manual.

I've also seen them use air cannons to scare them off with a loud bang every once in a while. In fact, FLL has one at the end of the runway and controllers can fire it on demand if birds are near the runway.

Cannot unsee.

It's actually got a slightly older-school single clutch automated manual (to save space and weight according to Pagani).

Or will you be getting something with a hatch?

The only reason this plane was able to do that is because it is completely empty save for a small amount of fuel. There's no way a plane with passengers, luggage, fuel, and cargo could do this.

GTI is in a different league when it comes to refinement and "maturity".

I just blurted out laughing way too loudly at the office haha.

THIS.

Further proof that the 03-08 TL was the best.

Very glad you were able to get that sorted and hope it didn't damage anything by not having them removed for so long. The car should drive much, much better now.

I didn't have ABS until about a month ago when I got my GTI. Haven't had it engage yet but when I drove my mom's Jetta a while back and had to make a panic stop in the wet - it was genuinely impressive how well it worked. Very confidence inspiring despite adverse conditions.

Seriously. I didnt have ABS in my Civic and it was always nerve racking if I had to stop short. Or worse, do so in the rain. Didn't happen often, but I had a few full lockup stops in the wet. Not fun.

Blame that on the US DOT. There's plenty of awesome headlight tech that we're not allowed to have because of their antiquated laws and rulings. (i.e. Audi's matrix headlights, etc.)

ABS too.
