Isn’t it also like a blanket rights thing? Like a venue pays one fee for the rights to a licensing company to use every song in their giant catalog. It is not like a hockey arena is writing a cheque to Freddie Mercury's estate every time they play We Will Rock You.  That wouldn't work for anyone.

Yea, it is one thing to get people like Rob Schneider or David Spade to keep showing up for your movies. But it is something else to get people like Henry Winkler, Steve Buscemi or Idina Menzel to come back when they could actually be doing something else. I recently read Winkler’s autobiography and he talks about how

It always seems funny when people are surprised that Adam Sandler can actually act. Because he has been a movie star for almost 30 years and always gets very talented actors to show up for his movies. People like Kathy Bates, John Turturro, Jack Nicholson, Henry Winkler, Peter Dinklage, Brian Cox, Susan Sarandon and

Except the article says that Friedel and Strong were both in their 20's when they showed up in support for this guy in court. So while maybe not exactly the same, still not great.

Yea they probably didn’t want to make Pam look bad by breaking up with someone who was a decent or even almost decent guy who just wasn’t who she wanted. Which is weird since so much of the story is about Pam finding her voice and deciding what she wants. So it could have been interesting to have her decide she

Yea I have been watching The Office with my kids. I haven’t watched it since it went off the air and they have never seen it. We are almost done season 3 and it is kind of weird now that I think about it how much they made Roy not just a bad fiance but a bad person. I wonder if the did that so Pam wouldn’t look bad

Sometimes when I watch the Office I feel kind of bad for David Denman who played Roy. Roy starts out as basically the same character as Andy from Parks and Rec. But while Roy just sort of became a really shitty violent ex-fiance, Andy became the lovable doofus ex boyfriend and Chris Pratt turned that into an A list

I feel like I ask this every time I read an article about one of these Sony Spider man side projects, but why aren't they making Tobey Maguire Spider man 4?

Halt and Catch fire was such a great and underrated show. I did a free month of AMC+ last year and rewatched the whole thing. It really holds up well (I hadn't watched it since it was originally on). Plus I can’t think of another show where the fourth (especially the fourth and final) season is the best.

So the description doesn't really say much. Is this story set in modern times or in olden times?

Universal Studios has had an amusement park in Florida for over 30 years, so I can't believe it has taken until now for them to make an area for the classic Universal monsters. It seems so obvious.

What is crazy is that they paid $100 million for Smartless but for $50 million more they got all of Team Coco, which includes Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend, the associated YouTube channel, 10 other podcasts apparently, and a 5 year deal for Conan to develop new original content for Sirius. Paying $150 for that seems

Why would Mr. T talk about it? Was she a fool that he pitied?

So did the previous internal investigation ever actually discover anything?

So if he is being charged because he was a producer, why not charge all the producers. Even small movies usually have more than one.

Yea I watched every episode of “Young Rock” and even though Vince fired Rocky Johnson right before the WWF took off big time, he still couldn’t make Vince look bad even though he was a creator and exec producer of the show

I wonder if Netflix’s lawyers are currently looking over their deal right now to see if they can get their $500 million back.

The linked IGN article says they are in post production. And it's a sci Fi movie so it could still require some very expensive CG work. That on top of whatever marketing Netflix does could be enough to put them over and say it's not worth it.  Especially if it's not very good to begin with and has already required a

Yea it’s seems like I have always heard stories about movies that completed filming only to never get released because the studio doesn’t think they can make money off of them. Or better yet the ones that get shelved for years, then one of the actors becomes a big star and it gets a surprise release.

I think Margo Robbie not getting a nomination isn’t that hard to understand. If someone were to watch this movie and look at it on a very basic level or just saw the trailers they could easily write it off that 90% of how good the performance was a tall beautiful blonde woman playing a doll who is known for being
