Is there any reason that Leslie Jones would expect to make the same salary as Kristen Wiig or even Melissa McCarthy? A big part of anyone's salary for their new job is based on their past work and is there anything that she had done in the past that was as big of a hit as Bridesmaids?

So suspending monetization just means his videos are still up on YouTube but they aren't going to pay him right? So YouTube won't let him make any money because he is an accused sex offender, but they will still make money off him even though he is an accused sex offender? What a weaselly way to handle it.

So the big question is, if this had been called Daredevil season 4 would Disney actually have been under an obligation to hire DeKnight? And if so how much would they have to pay if they had just fired him and hired someone else.

“Stephen Colbert" the host of the Colbert Report called him Papa Bear. Of course I know that version of Stephen was a character, but I basically see a comedian doing stand up as basically the same thing.

This is such a dumb controversy. Do people think that Stephen Colbert actually idolizes Bill O'Reilly?

I mean grabbing a dick is pretty on brand for a Beetlejuice musical. Maybe she thought it was some kind of audience participation.

There is no higher standard of truth to host The Daily Show. That is what Jon Stewart tried to explain to Tucker Carlson when he called him a dick. It’s a comedy show not the actual news so there is no actual journalistic integrity.

Even if residuals and syndication were still a thing, her two most famous roles were in serial dramas (Sopranos and Sons of Anarchy) the kind of shows that don’t really tend to do well in syndication.

Is the lack of income a residuals thing or does it have more do with the fact that she was probably 25 when she was in the Sopranos and now she is 51? And sure she still looks great, but unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a lot of roles for women in their 50's in TV and movies. I mean I am sure residuals are nice

Michael's transformation is so good. Especially how he goes from helping since he goes from basically hating Team Cockroach, to helping them to save himself to actually caring about them and wanting to save them.

This just sounds like a poorly worded press release. The better way to spin it would be to quietly raise prices then make an announcement that you will be extending happy hour to more hours each day.

So not actually The Guess Who?

But doesn’t that just mean that a network could pick their most profitable show, give those writers a deal and then let everyone else walk the picket line (potentially making a deal with people already making more than the union contract minimum). Writers taking that deal would basically be saying “screw the rest of

Wouldn't that completely go against the idea of union solidarity? Like if the networks and such can just make deals with certain shows to bring the writers back, then they can just make deals with their successful ones leaving the rest to hold out. Which would completely screw over the WGA.

If that is the case he must love the Watchmen TV series, since that is exactly what that was.  Or even future comic writers using Dr. Manhattan which is no different than him writing a Superman story. But I am pretty sure he complains about those as well.

Good old Alan Moore, he got famous writing and adapting stories/characters created by other people, but gets super angry about other people adapting stuff that he wrote.

Would combining the awards lead to them just being dominated by men? The Grammy Awards don’t seem to have gender based awards and the story after usually seems to be how Beyonce or Adele or Lady Gaga or Billie Eillish or Sam Smith cleaning up and winning a bunch of awards.

I never understood the idea that Kate Winslet isn’t crazy attractive. Even in Mare of Easttown they tried really hard to make her look kind of old, tired and rough looking, but a bunch of times it would be like “nope it’s still Kate Winslet and still super hot”.

That is a pretty big omission. Not only is Al a great musical artists he also directed a bunch of his own classic videos like Amish Paradise, White and Nerdy and Tacky.

I can totally see Fallon bragging about the great and hilarious relationship he has with his staff. It’s just like Conan and Sona. He berates and insults them and they think it is just really funny. Meanwhile they all hate it.
