Agreed. Maybe we’re not seeing this, but it doesn’t seem like they’re really keen on mentoring younger Dems for the sake of succession. What a lot of these Dems should be doing is picking someone to throw their support behind to take over their seats while they take supporting roles in their admins or simply retire.
