I agree that this is all subjective. I don’t think Ocarina of Time was good at launch, let alone right now. >.>

That’s certainly a possibility! Like I said, we’ll never truly know .
There’s been great success at the Disaster Factory!
Huh. You would think you’d only have to become the ruler of the universe once >.>
But that’s all literally conjecture. Nothing to fuss over. Just my suspicions.
Can someone please explain to me why Doctor Doom is held in such high regard? This isn’t a jab or anything, I’m just really curious what makes him so beloved by comic and super hero enthusiasts. Cuz when compared to the likes of... say... Magneto, or Thanos (old and new version), Joker, and a parade of other comic…
You’ll notice that the description I used for MGS was “does not stand the test of time.” To apply some kind of curve would be the same as moving the goal post. Also, I don’t have to do anything you just suggested, least of all to be nice to poor little Kojima, and his fame and success.
Just gonna say it as it is.
I’ve long assumed it’s because lots of people first played the Metal Gear Solids when they were preteens/young teenagers, an age in which lots of deeper meaning gets attached to otherwise shallow artwork.
Thank you! We’ll never truly know what she felt at the time or how she feels now. But a paycheck in the competitive entertainment scene is a paycheck in the competitive entertainment scene. You can’t really be picky until Disney is the one signing your checks.
Yes, I generally agree that Kojima is an eccentric guy who thinks he’s more brilliant than he actually is, makes neigh-on-unplayable games (when you’re not being interrupted by cutscenes every 10 feet), and has a strangely devoted fanbase.
And honestly, the slow cover gameplay was awesome at the time but by now has been so overdone (everyone stole it) that there’s nothing fresh about it at all.
I see what you did there >.>
Nice! Though, can’t say I relate. WTM is what I play when I’m super blah and don’t feel like playing anything else. Maybe one day, I’ll get the alt skins... probably by Season 5 :p
Generalization is general :D
When Hi-Fi Rush shadow-dropped on January 25, it was a shockingly pleasant surprise. Beautiful, vibrant, playful, the rhythm action platformer quickly won players over.
Whelp, that’s one impression. And there’s nothing invalid about that.
1. Toxic abusers are often times very charismatic and can be very good at hiding in plain site for literal decades. I don’t even need to cite any examples, just consider some of the recent big-profile convictions. It’s not that hard.
Huh. Thanks for the tip! I may have to revisit 2.02, and if it’s still super unstable, I’ll give that a shot.
I’ve also had similar suspicions, especially for Bethesda. I don’t have any proof, but I am all but certain that Todd Howard is the same, toxic, mismanaging ass that we see in Blizzard, Ubisoft, Id, and every other big-name publishing/developer house.
