Hmm... the plot thickens. Maybe a stupid question, but I’m old, I don’t have iTunes, what app do you use to download (not stream) a podcast?

...and who got the pizza party?!

I emailed the deadcasts@deadspin address and will let you know if I hear anything back.

The last few Deadcasts weren't available for me on Google Play Music.  The last one is the recast from 9/27.  Just me or anyone else?

Thanks for this, I really enjoyed it.  Looking forward to the season!

Can I count this as a Georgia Tech highlight?

I will ALWAYS star anything that references the Baby Whale, man!  Thanks for giving me a chuckle.

I have a Cayman GT4 that I don’t drive for the same reason because my motorcycle is just more fun.

Little hairs?

Your shoes might be the toughest to fill. Great work, and best wishes wherever you go.

Income tax? Seriously though, it’s weird, it’s not like he’s going after rings.

Totally unrelated to the post here, but any comments on the solar install?  I’m pretty close to pulling the trigger.  What made you go with Tesla/SolarCity?  Comments to the process?

From a jalop perspective, maybe folks that will benefit from tariffs are those that own and are looking to soon sell limited production, high end sports cars that don’t have many substitutes. Put another way, used car values for imported sports cars just ticked up because the next generation or MY just got that much

Am I the only pedant that’s bothered by “GOAT” and not “in history”.  Doesn’t GOAT imply that players in the future should be considered?  I’m of the mindset that we’re going to continue to get better at all (ok, most) of these things for a long time still and that it’s a little premature to build Mt. Rushmore.

No snark intended here, but that sounds a little like how Jerry Jones handled the signing of Greg Hardy.

Which is all the more frustrating given that Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (or whatever they’re called) exist. I mean, they clearly work together on other stuff, why not commit to improving safety?

Of course, and agreed. But, there’s got to be a way to put a sensor in a steering column with a range of ~2' to see cell phones in the driver’s seat. It can’t be that hard.

If they play a game every other day for a week, how many weeks would it take them to get back to .500?

Should the 2001 Pitt, Clooney, etc. version really be called the “original” Ocean’s 11? No love for Sinatra and the gang?

Relatedly, I’d love to see cell phone makers and car manufacturers build in the technology to limit use while in motion. I mean, they ought to be able to put in safety devices beyond the occasional “It Can Wait” campaign.
