I like this julienne tool that I have that I got at the Asian market in Portland, OR. It works freaking great. I think its mostly intended to shred papaya for papaya salad, but you can pretty much use it for any vegetable. It doesn't work to make really long julienne strands though. I usually do that by hand.

The downside of skyfire is that you can't skip forward or backward in a video, you just have to start over. Its better if you view the video without the popup on skyfire if you care about skipping forward passed stuff you've already seen or ads at the beginning of flash video content.
