Even if its 800 mhz, this phone is really attractive. Plus I hear it clocks as fast as a Droid X.

@Yeah!: Seconded. They have a pretty good site, the android app for mashable is pretty great too. Giz links their stuff often and gives them credit as sources for some articles that are posted.

@matt buchanan: I imagine it would be since it is a microsoft created search function on a microsoft OS. Do you think this was done on purpose by msoft in order to convert android users over to wp7 or just make the android OS less useable in general?

@silver-bolt: To clarify I use the gmail app on android to email other android users that also have the gmail app in place of using SMS since they receive the gmail notifications. To send an SMS through gmail, it sounds like you'd have to do it from a desktop pc browser since you are unable to do so from a mobile…

@Agentmage2012: You have to use google labs. However, the person receiving the texts will be charged per text, just not you. I just use gmail to msg back and forth with my friends that have android devices since then we both get notifications.

Uhh, just download a different browser from the app Market, problem somewhat solved. Although it does suck that the primary search widget is bing too. Anyone that knows how to add an app from sources other than the app market should be fine with this. Bloatware does suck though, any android user can attest to that,…

@rick23: His philosophy. Dualism existed beforehand, but it really mucked things up and changed the game when Descartes got his hands on the concept. Again though, Descartes was a genius and deserves a lot of credit for his freakish intellect.

This is awesome. I won't update it until google pushes the app officially. But I actually use gmail instead of sms because its free and I get the notifications just like with sms. Its the best option for free messaging on android phones at least.

Oh damn don't get me started on how much I hate Descartes. I took 400 level grad class on the guy and even that didn't dissuade me from my hatred. Don't get me wrong, the guy was brilliant and single-handedly transformed modern philosophy with his heart and mind dualism. But that doesn't mean I can't hate the guy…

@Bioengineered Smoothie: yeah thats true, even when you do full screen its still tiny. I would also love it if Sony added googletv to a firmware update, that would be great as well.

@IIoWoII: Its true, you can just upload the apps from an SD card or via bluetooth or from a URL, but its still somewhat more inconvenient than the marketplace just being there.
