When does it get to the point where creators don’t want to work with platforms like this, where the content is immediately lost and removed? There’s a lot of people’s hard work and time invested into these shows. I’m just wondering when it’s going to become a breaking point for those in creative ventures.

Cracker was a hell of a show.

You'd think Drake would be mindful of bullying after what happened to him in high school. I mean, yeah, it was totally Spinner's fault, but shit.

sorry i blew up your mom ricky

I’m just going to come out and say it:

I really don’t understand this marketing campaign for The Flash.

You still need proof?

“Tremors” is one great movie. So watchable and fun. RIP Earl Bassett.

The answer is neither

The Judds were one of the great country music acts of all time, IMHO. This seems like an appropriate time for my favorite single of theirs:

Yeah, a bunch of lovable but inept losers trying to film a shitty Z-grade dinosaur pic in lockdown sounds infinitely more entertaining than what we’re getting here, which sounds more like Insider Hollywood Assholes Are Still Assholes: Lockdown Edition.

But even in production, it feels more like a knockoff by a cheapie copycat like The Asylum than Universal, particularly with its limited crew and a suitably cartoonish but decidedly inappropriate shot of a computer-generated dinosaur penis.”

It’s a “popcorn action role?”  Did you actually see “Pulp Fiction”?

An excellent final review. Thanks for all of them. This is depressing.

Yeah, she wasn’t doing that. Oddly enough, I was actually at this show the other night. She was just being thoughtful. She only said the thing about how she waits for everyone to be alright before she continues the show because a few people (out of thousands) yelled out for her to hurry up and play the song. She was

To be fair, its a monthly subscription for a video where someone yells at you to ride your bicycle.  So its even dumber then what you said

It should piss you right off! It’s incredibly patronizing. While English is my first language, a number of people in my PhD cohort were ESL speakers, and it was so frustrating to see the ignorance they had to deal with while getting their degrees. Students can be incredibly prejudiced towards instructors who have any

As someone whose English is also their second language and who had people dismiss me using a similar line in the past (despite the fact that I wrote an entire Ph.D. thesis in English and speak English daily), that comment pissed me right off. All I could think off was “And how many second language do you speak, buddy?”

When the discussion is about misogynist power dynamics and your contribution is essentially “Eliza is hot,” maybe best to just not contribute.

“Actually I’m one of the nicer showrunners around. Did you know Shonda Rhimes makes her writing staff all play Russian roulette whenever they get a bad review? And Aaron Sorkin? Strangles puppies to get his dialogue juices flowing. I know the cousin of the guy who gets him the puppies.”
