It’s not because people are morons. It is perfect for most people’s commutes. It allows us to wait for the light to come on, then we know we should fill up as soon as possible but we’re still safe to drive the rest of the way to work without pulling out onto an unfamiliar area. Over all these years, this is what has

How low is too low? I’m sure it varies a lot from car to car but I typically fill up right before or right after the low fuel light comes on. My low fuel light comes on when I have approximately 30-40 miles of range left according to the trip computer which would have me guess that there’s at least two gallons left in

I never let it go below 1/8th of a tank for this very reason.

I bought a C6 Grand Sport just a few days ago and took it on the Nurburgring this evening. It ran cooler running hard on the track than idling around the parking lot.

Is it not appalling that GM -- and apparently Ford too -- can’t build a race car that does what it was designed to do without limping home, damaging engine components and threatening drivers? What I don’t understand is — didn’t these companies test these cars for more than fifteen minutes at a clip???

This might be a little far-fetched, but is there any chance that this has something to do with improper cooling system fill technique?

I’ve raced a few people with new Z06's and ALL of them have had this issue.
