I don’t see how it’s controversial to say that there are tragic civilian casualties on both sides of this conflict while acknowledging that neither Hamas nor Israel’s extremist, totalitarian government are the good guys.

If she had been fired for her lack of acting talent, your comment would hold water. Being blackballed for not supporting an extremist state is awful, no matter how untalented you think she is.

The state of Israel is a far-right, secular extremist government. It is not Judaism.

So she was fired for pointing out that Israel’s government is pretty freaking evil themselves and that the human toll on both sides is awful?

The spaghetti episode was really the show at its most brilliantly dark and uncomfortable. Not sure how it could be seen as jumping the shark.

People seem to have forgotten just how often Russell T. Davies lied or misdirected during his first run on Doctor Who. This should be a glaring confirmation that we’re seeing the Daleks soon.

That’s funny. I’m pretty sure that this week’s episode was one of the best they’ve ever done.

It's a little sad seeing someone so desperate to convince people that a universally lauded season was actually bad.

Sorry, but the vast majority of Segun Akinola’s work for Doctor Who was bland and forgettable. I’m glad the theme no longer sounds like it was performed underwater by someone with an upset stomach.

I’m not really sure who they would pair him with, myself. I realized after posting this that the reason we’re not getting McGann is likely because all of the other episodes are going to be interspersed with classic episodes, and BBC probably doesn’t have the rights to do that with the television movie.

Yeah, hopefully the Sea Devils don’t get either of us while we’re trying to watch these.

Poor Paul McGann. I’m hoping his absence in this lineup is just an oversight.

The parasite stuff is amazing.

Whether it was Chris Chibnall’s fault or Segun Akinola’s, I really disliked the musical work he did on the show during Thirteen’s era. I’m relieved that Murray Gold is back, but really hope he’ll groom a good replacement this time around.

Have you not watched any of the recent seasons? They’ve become increasingly conservative despite not giving up the frat boy humor.

I thought I was having a stroke after reading that. Maybe that was part of his evil plan!

If I found out that one of my employees was physically harming others outside of work, I would start a path to termination. Last year, I had an administrative assistant who was being abused by her husband. I reported him to his chain of command at our nearby base.

Why would you assume I would defend Mike Tyson? He is similarly a creep. You’re searching for an inconsistency that does not exist.

You would lose your bet. I find Connery abhorrent too. Having standards sometimes means that they put you in uncomfortable places.

This is a really terrible take. If someone is a monster who beats women to a bloody pulp, people *should* be incensed at them getting multi-million dollar paydays from entertainment companies.
