I made the same mistake during the episode. I think I said aloud, “Uhm, actually, Bendii Syndrome is just Vulcan Alzheimer's."

Inaccurately in what way?

I have to agree with you on this one. This episode just didn’t hit for me. I still enjoyed it because I enjoy the show, but I found myself looking at my phone a few times and just kind of absorbing what was happening.

I don’t really understand the concern. The first two seasons had no coherent plot, tons of contrivances, and endings that were basically wet farts after a lot of iffy setup.

Season 3 was uniformly pretty solid, especially when compared with the first two seasons.

Every conversation with Boebert from here on out needs to start with, “Will you resign after you exposed an audience containing children to your pornographic activities?”

This is the piece of lore that has tugged at me most with this reboot. Are they going to let Aerith live, and if so, how’s that going to change the rest of the story? As someone who almost always had her in my party, I have to admit that I’d love to see how the rest of the events play out with her still around.

On today’s episode of Deanna, Captain Troi senses that someone is lying.

In what way is the film “woke”?

It was awful. Why would you think that the quality would have no bearing on audiences being willing to see it?

I was a little weirded out by the juxtaposition of an apparent genocide with Nimrod making quips about "dropping in", etc. Tonal whiplash!

This fits with how Trek has been handled as a franchise. It's disappointing given the franchise's continuing popularity, but it has pretty much always been treated as second rate by the IP owners.

It sure feels like there’s a bit of doom and gloom around this year’s Comic Con. That said, having been going with friends for over a decade now, it feels like the smaller years are the ones we remember most fondly.

Ultimately, no pop culture phenomenon lives forever, and the MCU is being pulled down by internal and external forces. I know the movies still basically print money, but I don't see the MCU returning to its peak popularity any time soon. There are just too many fractures.

I’m not sure that someone’s guess based on a trailer that everyone can see really counts as a “spoiler”.

This makes me happy. From what I’ve played of BG3, it’s a singularly engrossing game with genuinely enjoyable characters. More of that doesn’t sound like a bad thing!

“One thing you learn working for Lucasfilm: everything is confidential,” Hamill said. “So, if I were involved, I wouldn’t be able to tell you. And if I were not involved, I wouldn’t be able to tell you. So, I don’t know. We’ll all find out together, I guess.”

Isn’t it a bit misleading to mention the illness of Dolly’s clone without clarifying that it was very common in the flock she had been cloned from? There was some speculation among journalists that she had a genetic age of six years, but that’s not taken seriously by scientists.

This is the only Marvel movie to really make me cry. I couldn’t handle the scene with Lylla, Teefs, and Floor getting unalived.

Please get Jeffrey Combs. That is all.
