Is a 14 minute mile running, or a brisk walk?

Back when I ran, my warmup walk was 1/3 mile which was done in about 5 minutes. But I’m about 5'11" and she looks about 5'5"

Yeah I mean, don’t get me wrong ... at best she’s kind of an idiot. At worst she’s a cheater. In the grand scheme of things it’s irrelevant but “she fucked up and doesn’t realize it or doesn’t want to admit it” feels a little more likely to me than “she decided to cheat so blatantly that a quick look at the math shows…

Anything over about 11:30 feels like not-running to me, but I’m 5'11" so someone with shorter legs might not feel the same. 14+ though is, yeah, pretty hard to call “running” for most people.

At 14+ minute miles for the first half, she and the friend are walking. I know this because I get interrupted on my jogs with workcalls, and I can’t stop the damn Nike RunTracker easily, and then I get a 13+ minute mile because half the mile was in fact a meandering walk. Back when I was a really slow shuffling…

At her pace, could she have gotten lapped while on the first loop and then just unthinkingly followed the people who lapped her?

She will be forever banned from the CFL and participation in the 36.5 Metre Dash.

Still waiting on my serious Land of the Lost remake.  They were also supposed to be doing Segmund and the Sea Monsters, but I’ve not heard anything about either in a really long time.

I remember the show well. Usually it was cartoons (Arabian Nights; and The Three Musketeers), a live action series (Danger Island was one) interspersed with physical comedy routines from the Splits and topped off with a song of the week (like the Monkees).
