A family friend was a lineman at Stanford in the early 60's. He and a teammate (who played in Super Bowl I) started a successful law firm but both lost control of it in their late 50's after suffering similar, inexplicable mental deteriorations. The family friend died of it. 

Met him a couple of times as a kid. Before the stadium was built, they used to practice at a public park/field where we practiced and played Pop Warner football.

Yeah, it was weird. And I want to stress that this is not to discredit Nunes as she fought Cyborg on the latter’s terms and won. Actually I would bet on Nunes in a rematch as I think she has also shown herself really good from a tactical perspective.

The amount of possible opponents that would’ve been able to counter Cyborg’s aggressiveness as effectively as Nunes did are very few, possibly none. The first two exchanges were even, then she got screwed in the longer one.
