Second time he's been KO'd. He might want to try wrestling some, don't think his chin can hold up to a stand and bang strategy.

You leave it where you found it, go call police, then bring them back to the spot. I've looked into this since there's all sorts of things in this area left over from WWII. Wanted to know what to do if I found something in the park while hiking.

This is correct. It should be left where it is, you call the police, and they will handle it.

Agreed. There are remnants from WWII that are still hazardous here in the US, but they are almost entirely from our own carelessness. Stray mines still pop up in Puget Sound that we put there to protect PSNS and Manchester refueling station. Ammo dumps and places like the park I mentioned are still around.

Yeah, that’s what is going on here. Part of the old munitions site is a park, and the rest is now housing and a hospital.

Most plays were blown dead at or before first contact. Even if someone was inclined to tackle the play was usually over before they could. The refs let this one go for a while just for kicks I suppose.

Been watching a show called Mud Men where they find all sorts of things along the bank of the Thames. Quite a lot of ammo and ordinance left over from WWII, some of it live.

That trophy looks like plastic though.

And he will be a lot more expensive than Washington can afford with Smith's contract on the books. Foles has probably played himself into $20m a year territory. I think someone like Bridgewater or Taylor on a one or two year deal is what happens.

Now that any pretense of this being a real game is gone, it’s become fun to watch. Watching a fullback make a bid for MVP (he got robbed), the silly flea flicker play, the play clock sitting at zero for several seconds with no penalty. It’s like a slapstick comedy version of football. I was hoping for a drop kick FG

Yes. To actually get ahold of this on vhs was amazing.

New Jersey.

I can't even put a finger on when I first saw this. We were degenerates and reveled in this sort of find. But it seems unlikely that my circle of friends got this on vhs. I'm sure we heard about it but didn't have it. It makes it very hard to remember when I actually first watched it.

It’s almost as if the press has been reduced to a subsidiary of governments and corporations. Propaganda, if you will. Sorta sarcastic, but not really. I remember being taught that freedom of the press was one of the things we had that made us better. Soviet press, Pravda especially was an example of an oppressive

I had forgotten about Geraldo taking a chair shot from a skinhead. It was kind of a big deal when it happened. It raises my historical opinion of him. Not a lot though, I’m still bitter about Al Capone’s vault.

Thanks for mentioning their names. I feel less bad about screwing that up now that I have been properly corrected.

Agreed, that’s why I replied to ungrey your comment. In my defense, I lost a lot of brain cells in '80s parking lots.

I noticed that on rereading. My bad, but I probably would have never seen it without his efforts... so the sentiment of my post stands.

A diet of bat and dove heads will do that to a guy.

How have I not heard of him before? As someone who graduated HS in ‘87, HMPL is the story of my people. I can’t remember when I first saw it, but never knew about the guy who made it.
