I feel that Blazing Saddles has aged well. The jokes were intentionally controversial, whereas Meatballs is more of a time capsule of what the norm was.

Sort of excited to see Stripes again. Wondering how it has aged. Saw Meatballs again not long ago and it was interesting to see how much of it would not fly today. Child abuse, cultural appropriation, borderline sexual harassment... not condemning it, just weird to see it through 2018 eyes.

Yes! Score one for my foggy old brain. Minus one for not remembering it was the Gossamer episode though. Thanks!!!

Wasn’t there a robot version of the sexy bunny used to lure Bugs? Or am I making that up in my foggy old brain...

The only Mexican on the list ranked dead last. Coincidence?

I expect exactly this if he fights Khabib.

Insurance. If someone gets hurt last minute or has a bad cut and can't go, there's no title fight for that PPV. Can't remember which one, but an  entire event got cancelled when there were problems with the main event. Doubling title fights hedges against this.

I’ve gotten a ride home from an officer. I was walking home, they pulled up on me looking for someone else. I was clearly intoxicated, and they asked me to get home. I told him I’d get there faster and safer if he gave me a lift. He agreed. Only time I've voluntarily gotten into a squad car.

This guy has screwed himself on that court. Nobody's gonna want to pick him, and if he does get on the court, he'll get annihilated but picks. Only positive outcome I see is if Screener throws out an olive branch and picks Screenee for his team. Screener seems like a decent guy, so I could see it happening. Either way

Too bad they don’t have a Tim Horton’s in Scottsdale.

I saw the movie first, and had been told the book was completely different. As such, I was able to enjoy both. However, I’ve wanted the reboot based on the book since the minute I finished it.

For the most part the bars in my town get it right. Several have 30+ taps, always a list with type, brewery name, and ABV. Always a couple cider options and under 5% beers, tulips for stronger options, and a few from Oregon or California (I'm in WA). Definitely more IPA options, but that's what the market demands so I

Should have claimed to be Thanos.

I believe the fine for on field protesting in the NFL goes to the team, not the player. The team can then decide to discipline the player. Seems like a small point, but at least one owner (NY Jets) has told his players he’ll cover any fines levied.

Now playing

Today I was ungreyed by Lifehacker. Henceforth, I will reserve my pithiest of replies for posting there. Unless... your move Deadspin.

I have a 4 foot section of yard between my garage and a wooden fence. it is screened on all sides from the neighbors. This is where I keep my compost heap, and also where I piss outside. It’s good fertilizer for next year’s garden, and I get to urinate in the wild, as God intended.

Mixing flavors is the key. Lemonade Slurpee... meh. Cherry Lemonade Slurpee, manna.

I would also add The Pig War.

I watched a Dolph Lundgren movie last night called Men of War. Part of the "plot" Was The bad guys wanting to exterminate the natives on a remote island so they could exploit the guano resources. I wish I made this up.

Definitely true, though Bellator seems to be improving lately. Less freak shows, more legit talent, and $100M in new money from DAZN to play with. Hard to live down that card with Gracie vs Shamrock and Dada Vs Kimbo where old people almost died.
