Yeah, I think I'm covinced I need to be reading this.

A couple of wrestling sites have reported she was seen wearing a cast. It seems like maybe it's pretty minor though?
Bayley has a broken arm apparently. Gonna be difficult to give out hugs, let alone wrestle.
Dana Brooke was not good, but did you see Eva Marie's promo the other week? That was the most cringe-worthy promo I've ever seen.
Blake and Murphy aren't already heels? Their whole gimmick seems to be "bland douchebros with stupid hair" and somehow that seems to be working for them. It's actually kind of perfect to match Cass and Enzo, who have piles and piles of charisma, against these blank slate jerks who consider having pigtails a good angle.
Love Enzo and Cass — they just have it. I like Carmella's attitude but she does need a little something more in the ring. One little thing: it'd be good to see Enzo and Cass do something other than the "little guy gets isolated and big guy comes in with the hot tag" schtick once in a while. They're still great to…
Sticky Fingers is an amazing record and, along with Let It Bleed, sits at the very top of the Stones' canon. Those two albums are equally indispensible for me, and although I love the many early pop singles, and the beautiful mess that is Exile on Main Street, nothing beats the countrified, soulful menace of that…
I guess so? Unless it's a story-related death, in which case it's permanent. It makes total sense, shut up!
Borderlands has body reconstruction stations, though, so you'd be fine (as long as you have a little cash).
Well, it has been a while since I've read it, but, as I remember, there's definitely a heart to the series (and Spider himself) that shows itself over time. There are also plenty of bowel disruptions, and Spider is pretty much the quintessential Ellis mad bastard character, so if you're really put off by that then I…
Continuing my Morrison Bat-book catch-up, I read Batman and Robin vol 3 and Time and the Batman.
Man, Ellis' Astonishing was a real low point. Transmet and Planetary are both excellent series, and Nextwave is an absolute must-read. I'd also recommend Fell and Anna Mercury, with the caveat that they are unfinished and unlikely to ever be finished (goddammit).
I really enjoyed Exiles… up to a point. I don't think I ever made it as far as the team of Wolverines, which is a shame because that sounds awesome, but to me the X-men meets Quantum Leap schtick was a great concept that wore thin after a while. I suspect that was due to the quality of writing rather than the concept…
Dang, I really liked what I read of Freakangels a few years ago, but I don't really enjoy reading long comics on my laptop so I never kept up with it. I think it's available in trade through Avatar but it seems silly to buy the physical books when it's right there for the reading. Sometimes I think I should get a…
The smarky NXT crowd seems to love Blue Pants, so the lovable underdog role for Bull doesn't seem too far fetched.
Starring Chali 2na.
Huh. I mean, you say you get it but I don't think you get it.
You could be right. The lyrics of his work are so beautiful and sensitive, as you say, so it's quite weird to try and equate that the image he seems to be projecting. I keep thinking of the song on Benji where he remembers and regrets bullying a boy in school and apologises to the kid wherever he may be in the world.…
It's cowardly insomuch that he has an audience of fans in front of him (predisposed to be sympathetic towards him) and, as the writer says, he can excuse any shittiness as "performance".
Isn't the most frequent criticism of cover versions that the artist didn't deviate enough from the original? I thought that album was pretty good, anyway (although not a patch on his best RHP/SKM work).
