Oh man, such a good reveal. I remember saying aloud, "Oh no. Oh no no no no no."

I feel like "Great job, internet!" need to start being a hell of a lot more choosy. This is definitely not a great job, internet. This is a bad job.
This article seems to be picking up and running with the quite common idea that technical limitations are what makes survival horror scary, whether it's through cumbersome tank-like controls, a restrictive camera system or, in this case, a sparse-by-neccessity soundtrack. I just don't think that's true.
Is this blatant advertising or a crappy "You Won't Believe How Blahblahblah Does Suchandsuch" piece of clickbait? Either way, this is a bad article and you should feel bad, AV Club.

Events are generally okay in themselves. It's the event spin-offs that interrupt every other book on the stands that really annoy me. So many good runs have been hamstrung by having to shoehorn in stupid crossovers. Slott's She-Hulk had its momentum killed dead by World War Hulk, Wolverine and the X-men was derailed…
Fucking hell. One of you doesn't like event comics; the other likes a few event comics but only if they're good. Both of you like quality, self-contained series. What is this argument even about?
Remender's whole run on Uncanny Avengers has been paying homage to classic comic storytelling, though. They've been full of great (over-)dramatic captions like:
She-Hulk was renting for a while after she got booted from the Avengers. Spidey definitely rents though, right?
Me too. I just picked up The Hive after devouring and loving X'ed Out a few weeks ago.
That was a great sequence. The hour and a half leading up to it? Not so much.
I dunno, I feel like you can't have it both ways. Either you're open to new interpretations of or directions for characters or you want them to stay in their classic incarnations in perpetuity. I mean, I wasn't a fan of how they retconned their marriage out of existence with magic, but I can't imagine that Spidey and…
Ugh.
C'mon, dude. Don't be an ass.
It makes me sad that it seems like there's a good portion of readers think like this. I guess this is why pretty much all of DC's books look the same?
Have you read Slott's run on She-Hulk from a few years back? Very funny book with lots of character and heart. It made Shulkie a favourite character with me.
Kate Beaton is master of expression. She can crack me up with just the look on a character's face.
Just finshing up Hickman's Fantastic Four run. I read FF vol 4 most recently and, man, what a great collection of comics that is. So many fun little adventures, from classic Spider-man/Human Torch mischief to Negative Zone politics to touching FF family stuff. I really want to get into Fraction and Allred's take on…
Man, The Incal is so pretty. I've been wavering over whether to stump up the cash for the expensive imported hardcover. So pretty…
Trade sales allowed Slott to restart She-Hulk after the first 12-issue run though. So keep buying those trades!
