Just to say, this game is definitely in the latter camp, in that you have to "win" each chapter before the game will progress. In fact, even if a character dies due to your actions in a chapter, they are resurrected for the next one, which really stifles any sense of importance for your decisions. I was pretty

I sometimes think about getting into Carey's run but then I look at how much crossover stuff was going on throughout it and I just can't muster the energy. It's a shame because I like Rogue so it seems like I'd probably enjoy bits of it.

I've never actually heard anyone rave about his X-men, so I'd like to hear what you have to say about it!

"…nothing in Buffy gets forgotten…"

Exactly. I don't care at all about delays like this because I would rather have the creators spend the time that they need to make a great comic. I'll read the trades when they're ready.

Waluigi is the character of choice for Japanese language nerds. Plus, that laugh! The importance of having the perfect annoying laugh for when you shell your your opponent and overtake them on the last lap cannot be overstated.

I was really keen to read this Annihilation series but I got confused by all the Prologues, Conquests and stuff. I should try to figure it out sometime, huh.

I just ordered vol 1 thanks to you guys. Looking forward to it!

Have we talked about the 2014 Harvey Award nominations?

Adventure Time's side-notes feel almost exactly like Ryan North's Dinosaur Comics alt-text. You're definitely not the only one.

Damn guys, I'm going to have to get Born Again just based on this hype thread.

Totally on board with this. Don't forget Rat Queens, Deadly Class, Sex Criminals, etc etc. An incredible roster all round. (I still read a bunch of Marvel though.)

Perfume is fantastic, but listening to an entire album of their stuff can be pretty exhausting. Great singles though.

Yeah, New X-men's art absolutely is fucking awesome when it's Quitely, but when it's Igor Kordey, for example, it's utterly abysmal. Still a great series overall though.

I'm deep, deep into Crusader Kings 2, where my current character is King of Aquitaine and trying to expand into a very weak Burgundy by force and a roughly equal-strength France by marriage. I just arranged the deaths of two infants to ensure my spouse is first in line for the throne!

The Thor costume from that period is completely awful. Why did all characters in the 90s need those stupid headpieces?

I dunno. My dad used to read me Asterix books when I was a kid and those have loads of amusingly rendered censored swear words. I don't think it's a problem.

Oh my god yes, the art is completely astounding, and alone makes the book worth reading. Alan Moore's story is equally incredible though; disturbing, sickening, meticulous and completely fascinating. The movie was… not good.

There's no whey that typo was going to go unnoticed.

It's not as difficult as it first looks. There is definitely a lot going on in the game but you can pretty much get away with only paying attention to a few things at first, and then as you get more confident you can expand your attention and really get stuck in. There's no need to be constantly micromanaging like in
