Chose your band. Get in the van.

Helps that their trades are good quality and cheap as hell, too.
I was always partial to this Muse one: http://www.youtube.com/watc…
Adventure Time vol 2 for me this week. Having read this quite soon after seeing Days of Future Past at the movies, I really enjoyed the time travel story that made up the bulk of this collection. Ryan North was obviously enjoying getting to play around with all that apocalyptic future nonsense, with neat stuff like…

Yup, when Moon Knight was announced all the hype seemed to be predicting "This could be the Moon Knight series that finally sticks around!" I was like, "With Ellis writing? It's got 12 issues, tops." Seems even that was generous, although who knows what will happen with Wood continuing the series.
Am I the only one who was looking forward to more Anna Mercury?
Wait, Astonishing X-men is back? No, you must mean Amazing, right? I'm still catching up on WatXM, but looking forward to getting into it after that.
Man, sounds great. I'll keep an eye out. I've always meant to check out some of Dini's Batman stuff too…
Or Frank Quitely to Igor Kordey…
You are getting pretty worked up about this though, dude. I mean, I think we get that you don't like it. Me, I think it looks weird but kinda cool, like an Aeon Flux/fisheye lens kinda vibe. And it's only for two issues anyway, so suck it up.
I was going to say it reminds me of Aeon Flux. Which is a good thing!
And yet they still introduced Blink, Warpath and Bishop for no reason (not that I'm complaining about Blink, whose action scenes were the standout parts of the future setting). Don't see why they couldn't have introduced Rachel Grey instead of Bishop, for example. Or why they couldn't have had Prof X, the world's most…
I think until Aquaman gets a (good) movie to elevate him in the public conciousness, he'll continue to be a punchline despite the best attempts of Johns, Parker et al. Most people just know him as the guy who talks to fish. DC/Warners should really get on that.
Man, Gotham by Gaslight. I found it to be a hugely disappointing waste of the pretty cool Victorian Batman concept. Mignola's art is great, of course (though it looks pretty formative compared to his work on Hellboy, or even the totally sweet Legends of the Dark Knight one-shot, Sanctum, that he did later), but the…
Spider-man: Blue is another book where Sale just knocks it out of the park.
From Hell is utterly incredible. Maybe my favourite Moore work?
It's like referencing a Meredith Brooks song when all you need is another Morrissette. Doncha think?
Yeah, that run leading up to Generation X was really memorable. Great stuff, even though the rest of the Phalanx Covenant was pretty dire.
I wouldn't be surprised if Fraction's Marvel work slowed down for the time being, and I'd be glad if that meant the next volume of Casanova was on the horizon. I think most comics writers will always go back to the big two, though, as from what I've heard working on well-known properties tends to boost sales of their…
